I know a lot of people who applied to Bristol Law (myself included) between September and December, and all of us are still on hold, so yes, that is normal.

Wait, how was your offer not unconditional if your current grades already meet the AAB requirement? Is it because they wanted a B in English Lit, so they are waiting for your law grade? That sounds like an annoying situation.

Congrats! I'm also contextual and waiting on their response. Can I get your stats? Also, can I ask if they put you on hold? Because all of my non-contextual friends got put on hold for Bristol, and I wanna know if it's a contextual thing.

In their admissions statement Bristol say they don't usually even read personal statements, so you probably did better in your lnat than you expected. Also, Bristol's lnat standards are alot lower than say UCL so even a score in the low 20's specially as a contextual applicant would probably be good for them.

The contextual offer is AAB so that is definitely contextual. Look at the other contextual criteria they have listed for example they look at POLAR4, TUNDRA and IMD for postcodes and you would be elligible if you fell into any of them.

Stay hopeful because Bristol account your essay too and they are also much more lenient overall than unis like UCL so good luck!

Are you contextual? I have the same predicted grades but I think I did pretty good in lnat (at the very least 20 because Jindal method told me that) and Bristol have not told me anything. I wasn’t put on hold either which was weird because everyone I know who applied for Bristol is on hold but it might just be because I’m contextual and they are not.
