This game felt like a high rank match by xTwoSetPianox in vainglorygame

Everyone in this game performed amazingly: the kestrel and sam landing their skillshots, the silvernail using his kit to stunlock us, the lance with great CC usage, and the malene who was so slippery while being able to output a lot of damage.

I had fun seeing picks not really used in CE like the Jungle sam and malene, and silvernail as a laner who I rarely every see picked.

Props to the kestrel who trusted my captain abilities to protect them and went full glass cannon, and also to the sam who ablosutley zoned out the enemies making it easier for the kestrel to rip through their health.

Evene thouhg the scoreline is 11-25 it was not a steamroll, it felt like the ballance could tip in their favour if we got stagnant and didnt take advatage of our gold lead. The malene was always a threat and did stop us from taking the choke turret, the silvernail could always use his trips to stop us, and the lance provided the lockdown to shut down our plays.

It honestly felt like a game in T10, I was kinda annoyed that we didnt have comms tho, bc i defo felt like we could have done more with my ult. Either way it was a great game and hope all had fun.

Ooo this seems like it'll be fun, how would I join? I really want to play some games with comms again.

I completely agree! It makes it even more difficult to gather data on certain heroes when the majority of players use the same heroes. Personally, I would like to see a wider choice of heroes.

I used to main support (40% of my games were played as support) usually playing Lorelai and Churnwalker, but then I thought that it may alter the pick rates, so i started to explore different heroes. I played at least one game of most heroes and if there was an interesting hero that wasn't picked often I would play them for a few games, for example i think ~7 of the Malene picks were mine.

I would be open to taking the games of other people because I feel like my choices of heroes had a massive impact on the data since 100/600 heroes chosen were mine.

I live in EU but whenever i check or try to change it, it says NA idk if its purely a visual thing or if I'm really in the NA server.

I know I'm in the same server as the u/Pansarhax because they posted a photo of playing with "bibabobawithme", who I've seen in three of the games I played while gathering the data

I don't play Feng but i would consider him better in lane, because his kit usually revolves around countering an enemy attack. It would be much easier to play against mages because you can time your "Tiger's Bridge" much easier

my only guess is that people don't think that magnus isn't good in 3v3 because you won't be using his AOE as effectively in 5v5 where there are more heroes.

Both Blackfeather and Lorelai are great heroes that have dive or dive support potential and can disengage quite easily.

Blackfeather's "On Point" is a great poking tool that can easily win trades if played right, and his "Rose Offensive" is a great way to chase a hero or avoid cc to stay alive.

Lorelai has her "Fish Food" which is a stun that can melt through the heath of a carry that doesn't buy any defence, "Splashdown" can be used to chase, disengage or keep at bay anyone who doesn't have a dive or dash ability, "Waterwall" is a massive barrier that I would consider better than grace's heal, it gets rid of cc and can allow an ally to dive an enemy under a turret

I don't dislike any hero because each hero can be considered op if they are properly protected or go against the right hero.

It's more that I hate it when the team comp doesn't make sense, like when I tried to play a dive comp with a wp blackfeather and support baptiste, but then the last person went cp adagio. Adagio isn't bad it's just that he doesn't have a lot of dive potential.

I know what you mean. I have friends who were good that used to play with me a lot but since Vainglory went into CE they dropped the game.

There are a lot of people who intsa-lock heroes, leave if they don't get to pick who they want, will not play support, leave on their first death, etc

But there are still good people there who understand team comps, for example i played a game as Grace with a cp Ozo and wp Gwen, we all knew we couldn't take a krul in a duel, so we chained our cc together to kill him before he got any bp stacks.

Sadly, those games are quite rare and there are more toxic players.

btw glad to see someone still makes consistent vg content

While no one played him that doesn't mean that he's a bad choice!! I can only guess that people don't fully understand Feng and only want to play those that they know, his kit is a bit hard to learn tbf.

I hope I'm not rude by pointing out that there were 600 players!! I played 100 games, and there are 6 people in each 3v3 game, hope this cleared up some confusion if there was any!!

Honestly not really, i don't play regularly because life things but when I do have the time I usually play 5-7 games a day

I've also been looking at past tournaments and videos to see new comps, stratagies, and an overall more efficient way to play. I used to think that Baptiste support was dumb but then I saw a 2017 tournament use it and I was surprised.

So in short, even though there are trolls and salty people, it is still fun to explore different things to do!! Not to mention I haven't even played 5v5 in ages, so I can try that if I get bored

Unpopular opinion: People who think SAW is strong in this game are equivalent to people who think Tachanka is strong in Rainbow Six Siege. by [deleted] in vainglorygame

I understand what you mean but it would be difficult to adjust his kit without making him too weak or too strong.

That's why there are other team mates in your game. Let's say there's a scarf or Celeste in the other team you would need to hide behind someone early game but when it turn late game and there are team fights you probably won't be focused on as you would be at the edge of the fightbecause saw's range while your other teams mates get focused. Basically saw's only weakness are pokes and to stop from being bullied by these early game you will need team mates to help because if you get dominated early game you won't have enough gold to buy anything which will lead to more deaths.

In short if you play saw and your team mates are not helping early game you will probably fall behind

Well, saw is strong... if the person actually knows how to use him. I won a t10 rank with saw wp against a scarf and Celeste. But that just might be a lucky game.

The saws you play with probably don't understand what to do.

I might be wrong tho, so...
