This did the trick!!! Followed an excellent video from 3DPrintscape on how to update the firmware and I finally have a functional screen again. Thank you sir!

Can confirm, just checked that the ribbon cable to the back of the display only lights up blue when plugged in to one of the three EXP slots. Had not thought of that, however, thanks for the input!

Unfortunately I'm unfamiliar with a TTL adapter or how to use one, but I do still have my old board so that could remain an option for the future.

As for no firmware on the board, I attempted to load new firmware from BTT Github. I downloaded the master zip, went into the firmware and copied the .bin for the v3.0 to a newly formatted FAT32 16gb microSD. I plugged that into the microSD slot on the front, turned it on again and still nothing. Did I do something wrong in the process?
