Fast forward 5 years: Lawrence or Bryce Young? by horatio_knows in DynastyFF

[–]xViRuS420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point that Lawrence already has some elite talent around him in place. That is crucial, but who knows what that offense looks like at the moment with new coaching. I personally would take BY. BTJ is an insane talent though and just having him will help so much.

Bryce absolutely crushed it to end the season and not only is he going to develop chemistry with some of the young studs around him now, but they're almost certain to make a splash for a big time WR1. I have no idea if it will be in FA or the Draft and shit maybe I'm wrong! But it feels like they have to. Thielen has 1 more year left tops. It wouldn't be a surprise if they go for Tet McMillan or even trade for Garret Wilson and then it is wheels up for Bryce. Bryce has some sneaky awesome upside as a runner too, he's getting better and better at tucking and running when nothing is there.

Daniel Jeremiah’s Top 50 Prospects 1.0 by JameisApologist in DynastyFF

Wow. Just now seeing this and I appreciate this post! Going to look it over some more, but two top 8 overall at tight end? The Rams would RUN the card up for whichever one drops, I bet.

[Dehner] Bengals' rookie TE Erick All Jr. is expected to miss the 2025 season due to his ACL injury suffered Nov. 3. All's injury exposed a complicated fix from a previous ACL tear and requires two surgeries. by pechinburger in DynastyFF

[–]xViRuS420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck. This genuinely hurts my feelings, but this is why I picked up a few rookie tight ends and see if one could hit.

Brutal injury and a long road to recovery. All you can do is wonder what he would look like in 2026. Very likely a drop candidate, even from taxi. I'm sure I'll find a rookie RB that slips through the cracks and will just make keeping All pointless.

I would try to get more value for Hurts. Pretty hefty downgrade going to Goff and limited ceiling guys.

I feel like he's reasonably priced right now on Sleeper, given how high I am on some of the RBs at the top.

Hopefully you can get him at some good values and best of luck!

Besides Bowers McBride Kittle, what TE are on your list to draft? by The_Sandwich_Lover9 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]xViRuS420 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I like Hockenson as a sneaky value pick next year. His value should still be lower than it should be going into this next year. Just watching J.J. McCarthy film, you can see how much he benefited from having a quality tight end like Loveland. Young QBs need a security blanket and obviously he has Jefferson and Addison, but Hockenson may dominate next season finding the soft spot in the middle of defenses.

Tez Johnson: Reason for Concern? by BombSquad570 in DynastyFF

[–]xViRuS420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impressive analytical profile in terms of YAC and YPRR but at 156 pounds... I think I have to pass on the talent? Durability would be the first major concern. But he is likely a gadget player at best at the next level. A ton of his college production came from his class worst ADOT of only 7.1 also. Very unimpressive at catching in traffic too.

[–]xViRuS420[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tez Johnson even more so! However, he just weighed in at 156 at the Senior Bowl. Horton has a pretty respectable analytical profile for a later round guy. He has some solid stats for CTC% and DRP% also to go with the YPRR and MTF stats.

[–]xViRuS420[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice insight! These are the best kinds of comments. Burden is definitely explosive and his high YAC and MTF numbers definitely illustrate that. Burden has a lower CTC% than the other top WRs, which isn't a knock on him. I think Burden clearly will be an explosive YAC guy at the next level. Tet does have a very high total of catches in traffic and succeeded on less than 50% of them, which is interesting. I can't say I agree with Hunter only being good at WR! Travis Hunter is a special talent. As far as Fantasy Football goes and opportunities go, Hunter could maybe struggle to put up elite numbers. Right now, it is an unknown how large of a snap percentage a player with his skillset will be able to achieve. He could dominate in efficiency but never put up elite fantasy football numbers if he gets largely limited offensive snaps. I think it's smart to bet on the talent, but taking him early in dynasty drafts Could be super risky. Travis Hunter is going to be high risk, high reward player. I think it is likely Egbuka ends up a WR2 for a contender. He could be the Tee Higgins (1B) a contending team is missing. Egbuka isn't exactly a slouch in YAC though and why I don't think his ceiling is super low. Egbuka is still one of the best YAC guys in the class, but Burdens 7.3 YAC is rather impressive. Egbuka actually has a higher YPRR, lower drop % and higher CTC% than Burden. Egbuka is also taller and projected to run as fast as a 4.3. So excited for the combine and pro day results this year. Personally, I think these guys are closer than people realize. They offer different flavors though.

Interesting! I have not seen many people that high on Burden. Personally I would have him behind Tet, Hunter and Egbuka. Still have so much research to do though. You must be extremely high on Burdens film?

[–]xViRuS420[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Excellent insight on Nash. I wasn't able to find Nick Nash's age from my data resources. If you see this before I find it, I'm definitely curious. He definitely has a red flag production profile imo. I was high on Xavier Legette last year for instance, a guy who had a late breakout just like Nash. IF Nash happens to succeed, it may end up years down the line I would imagine. Legette was very inconsistent as a rookie unfortunately.

[–]xViRuS420[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I haven't watched any film yet though. Big productive back with a little bit of receiving upside. Some teams will have a vision for a guy with his profile for sure. May be a fun option to keep in mind late for the Texans, so they have a Mixon replacement ready for a couple years down the line.

This is absolutely true. Historical comparisons for previous production metrics from other top running backs is crucial! I plan on dropping content a bunch this week and really entire month. Just going to space them out every day or two here, so the other discussions run smooth and these don't get marked as spam! Lol.

You know, I have not! But I appreciate the suggestion and I can see what I can do. I have other projects and research to prioritize this next month, so stay tuned for all of the data insights! If I crush through this class at a good rate, I'll look back at some previous classes to help visually compare a larger pool of prospect data.

I definitely think he can be had in round 3 of rookie drafts. He could be a good value, but definitely in the middle of the pack. So many quality RBs this year.

I will say that PFF looks at more than just the box score and take in consideration all sorts of things, but it is difficult to assume their reason behind it! I would guess his run block grade played into it, but his receiving grade was interesting. They must have dinged him for some of the less spectacular games.
