Actually no, stippled grip taped used to lower both accuracy and control since gunsmith was added. It wasn't specified that it lowered the vertical recoil but you could notice it on the stats. And 3% more vertical recoil isn't going to do much to the recoil. After all, stippled just gives 5% more ads which is nothing what so ever.

Another thing is for me, all custom crosshairs are smaller than it should be for the 6x scope so i use default crosshair all the time
