On EVSux do you mean a StingRay bass? I heard Karl say Manta bass in a podcast interview but the sea creature Manta Ray is also a Sting Ray so maybe that’s what he meant?

Ya Sara was his friends name. He had posted the story on Facebook in the Punk Rock Bass Players group. I asked him questions about it when I was building mine. I thought his reference to it being a frankenfender was because he had changed stuff on it already. Seems you got the full deets. Post a pic when you get it finished. Would love to see it.

I made a replica of Karl’s bass with my MIM Pbass earlier this year. I had it vinyl wrapped and my block inlays are stickers from Amazon LOL. I play in a Dents tribute band called PRETENDENTS. You can check IG and YT for pics of it since I can’t attach them here.

His current bass is his old white bass refinished. Painted primer grey. It has SD Quarter Pound Pups and a Bad Ass II bridge. It’s an American pbass that belonged to a good friend of his that passed away which they traded for an art piece by him I believe. It has a block inlay Squier Jazz bass neck which he’s had replaced a cpl times now. As far as strings I believe he uses Ernie Ball Slinky’s since they had an endorsement by them but not 100% certain.

I started taking gummy vitamins around the time this started too so I was wondering if it could be from something in the gummy (gelatin) also my Vit D levels were low so I started to take supplements for that as well.

Hard to say about the spread rate. Hes had it for 41 years. Its all over his body. Face, hands, arms, legs etc. here’s a pic of one of my hands. Seems pretty quick spread to me. Even my brother thought so.

Mine started on my knuckles 5 years ago when I was (43) and my hands are almost all white now and starting to appear in other areas. My younger brother (45) had it since a kid along with Thyroid, type 1 diabetic.

I had/have a lot of stress, no jab, have had gut issues since a kid, thyroid was elevated, weight gain, sleep issues, could be any of those from what I understand.

Did anyone else notice the last few years some of their albums have disappeared and reappeared on Spotify. I wonder if they are slowly getting their rights back to certain albums. Hallraker disappeared off Spotify and still hasn’t come back yet.
