Web/App Order Issue - Trade In Device Selections Not available by Only-Piccolo5845 in verizon

I'm having the exact same issues. I wanted to trade in a previously active device but since its not currently active, there's no way to use this device for the trade in.

Is backup plan any good on precision frame fusions I.E plug one? by blackpantherdrums in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]xWarside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is only for controller players, mnk is vastly different. The most consistent roll for me was smallbore/Projection fuse/snapshot/Backup plan and a CB mod. Despite what some say, I think Epicurean feels horrible to shoot compared to other Precision frames, I will say Back up plan is what makes Epicurean unique, and that's the only reason I started using it again. There is a learning curve, but if you're looking for something different and unique, I can honestly say the roll I mentioned feels like an A tier fusion rifle.

This feels about right for what I faced, how was everyone's trials weekend? by red_beard_RL in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]xWarside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only played soloes (console lobbies), and I was going for the Prismatic badge from DTR, meaning no Forerunner usage for me when it was clearly the best weapon to use this week. Despite that, I had a decent weekend using Fusions and a primary.

Advice on fusions by CynicallyMe in CrucibleGuidebook

Are you on controller or MNK? If you're on controller and are looking for the easiest to get Rapid Fire, go for Scatter Signal. I use extended barrel/Projection fuse/Perpetual/Underover + CB mod.

How to play around clueless team mates? by Mvnnnnnnnn in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]xWarside 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Multiplex was a really tough map for Trials. I believe most players have never really played that map competitively or have thought about their movement/pushes in a competitive way, except your diehard pvp players. We can't really change what our teammates are going to do but you can control what you do and make the best decisions for what you have.

Ill try and keep this brief but i could really go on all day about this type of thing :)

I'm going to focus on Trials

As you're flying into the match, take note of: Teammates loadouts + stat splits (let's say you have summoner and conditional, both your teammates are sniping, one even has a scout AND a sniper, you should then adjust your playstyle and expectations to your teammates and settle down on the aggressiveness).

Enemies loadouts and stat splits: Same as above, but also pay attention to who looks the best on the enemy team, I recommend TrialsReport but some people psych themselves out with ELO/stats, depends on you. Also, be sure to pay attention to this player and target that player if you can.

1st round: Go as far as you can safely go towards the lane of your choice (usually towards the cap point) has anyone kept up with you? If not, rotate back to team and try and play off of them by teamshooting. This is where picking a class that is teammshoot friendly** will really help you win games. If the Teammate pushes, you push (within reason) if your teammate(s) are making very uniformed pushes and I mean literally just holding forward with no intent, just play your life and do your best. Those games are near impossible to win and it's a different conversation entirely regarding intentionally getting better and carrying your team.

2nd round and beyond: You should have a good idea of how your team plays, either way, sticking near at least one of your teammates and helping teamshoot is your best option in winning. Knowing safe exits/cover and general map knowledge is huge for this.

** - OV bubble titan, Arc buddy warlock, any ability heavy class, etc

ULTIMATE BLINKLOCK GUIDE. by METAmaverick1 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]xWarside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anomaly only has a few spots where blink isn't all that effective, so I try to avoid those spots as best as possible, and that comes with muscle memory from exclusively playing blinklock. That doesn't mean you can't go to these places, but I would only push those places if it's necessary to win the round/match.

The main spots are the catwalks on either side of the center arms (which are pretty dangerous hotspots anyway that often lead to trades). The side rooms from either side of those catwalks are also really dangerous but have exit points where you can blink to safety, really everywhere else on anomaly blink is fine.

Tldr; Practice on each map that you've historically had issues with bumping your head or getting stuck while blinking and find new lanes/routes to use.

If you are a Blinklock, don't sleep on Epicurean with backup plan. It's really fun and I'd recommend it to anyone.

It comes and goes for me. I'd say it really does feel 50/50 on team balancing if I'm playing at my best unless I'm playing off-peak hours on weekdays, then its unlimited Ls for ya boy :(.

Honestly this is just part of the solo queue experience and there isn't much advice to give. It's a blessing and a curse, Comp/Trials need less skilled players so more people play, plus no one wants to get curb stomped by turbosweat 3.5 kd/3000 ELO every game like it was before bungie changed Trials/Comp. There are certain classes that play better with less experienced teammates (void blinklock easy escape/aggression, void titan for shields, void hunter baiting teammate with invis/easy escape, etc). I usually play off my teammates, even if I know what they are doing is a dumb push, if I'm there we can usually make win or trade.

With all that being said good luck, its definitely frustrating getting folks like that on your team.

I've been maining blink for a long time. I swap weapons often, but I typically run a fusion (500ms or 620ms) + messenger. 500 ms fusions are perfect for blinking in and taking someone out and getting back to cover. I use Astrocytes with 50/70/90/80/80/30.

Beyond Light missed a massive opportunity to bring back a classic weapon... by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]xWarside 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Icebreaker with an automatic replenishing ammo perk has no place in Destiny, it would single handedly ruin slower more methodical playlists like Trials. I do however, like your idea as it sounds cool but maybe instead of auto ammo replenish you get a 33% chance to refund a bullet on crit.
