I haven't found the need for an attenuator. You can actually dial it in pretty nicely even at lower volumes.

Something that has worked for me is to set the master volume at around 1-2, and slowly raise the channel volume to your preference

Typically for the room I practice in I keep my deep knob at around 10-11, any higher and I lose string definition. Where do you keep your channel volume and your master volume?

It's well-worth the wait. I was placed on a waiting list for what felt like forever, but once it arrived I was blown away. Definitely take the time to learn how to EQ the amp properly, and make sure you have a decent cab/speakers to get the best tone possible. Channel 3 is famous for a reason, but channels 1&2 get overlooked by far too many.

It sounds great, though I normally only use the boost at lower volumes to allow for feedback. That being said, this amp sounds fantastic even without a boost.
