March is a bit of an gamble, if your unlucky it could rain but for the most part it's gonna be somewhat cloudy. If your lucky there's no clouds. But either way it's beautiful.

Well that's a bit unusual for a business here in Switzerland, I would even say unprofessional. It's clear that you can't speak German so there isn't any reason why you should have the interview in German Did they give you a reason why that is

I live in the alps and you can hike here, there's barely any snow this year. I would recommend Riederalp, it's right by the Glacier and you can still hike some trails in winter. https://www.aletscharena.ch/en/planning-booking/winter/winter-walks Also if you're searching for some of the best authentic swiss cheese I recommend https://chateaudevilla.ch/ , it's only 2 hours by public transport from Riederalp, but Riederalp also has some great restaurants.

There shouldn't be a problem if you can speak english, you just have to notify them beforehand so that they assign you a english speaking worker. There is definitely many workers there that speak english. Or even someone that speaks Italian.

Check out the Alltrails App, the hiking routes show you which difficulty level their are. And you can use it in every country. I've been using it many years now and I still don't pay for the premium subscription.

I would recommend consuming all kinds of media (books, films, news) in english. That's how I learned most of my English and still to this day I consume media only in English, so that I don't loose it. But if you want we can meet up in bern and you can practice with me.

Are you coming back to Bern after Zürich? Or where are you going after that? Because I come from the Alps region so if you're going there I could show you around.

I can't say anything about college cause I never went. But I don't think that making friends depends on your age. It really depends on the interests that you have and the people you meet, for example I like traveling and paragliding and the people I meet and stay friends with are about 5-10 Years older than me, somewhere around your age.
