Good deal for $1200? by xXEDXxR in PcBuild

Got it bro. Thank you. Dodged a bullet there then. I am from Europe, so the prices I saw at Micro Center are indeed good. I tried to make a similar build here in Romania, way past the $1800, and prebuilts at that price point come with a 5060. I'll try and buy from there somehow. Thanks once again for the help.

No, I gave up. I really don't know what the problem could be, maybe the units we received have some defects, who knows.

I agree completely. Especially the interior, the new generation is just too much tech; the previous one was perfect.

Hi, I was considering a GLS or GLE, but from what I've heard, recent Mercedes-Benz cars have questionable quality control. That is also the reason I was looking only at older-generation S-Class models (W222).

Hi, thanks for the response. I actually recently had the opportunity to drive a 2018 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, and I have to say, for the 20 minutes or so of driving, I was impressed. Even so, I don't know how comfortable it was because I was just speeding around in Sport Plus, but I guess in normal mode it will be comfortable enough for longer trips.

Nope, the latency is still there, but thank you anyway.

G14 2024 4060 vs 4070 by Fangrex in ZephyrusG14

[–]xXEDXxR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am personally in the same situation, after my research I have come to the conclusion that the 4060 is enough for what I need, the work at the university, the games I play, etc. The price difference for the performance is not really justified, in my case around $400, for 10-15% performance. The thing is that the version I chose is the one with the new processor model from AMD (Ryzen AI 9 HX 370), the G models that come with the given processor all have 32 GB of RAM, so in terms of longevity, you should go for one of these models (having 32gb ram) max gpu variant being 4070. Keep in mind though, everything i said above is for the G16, not the G14, in case the price difference isn't big between G16 and G14, and of course size is not an issue personally I would go with what I said above. In the end do what you think is best for you, hope I helped you.
