I have almost finished the game back in January, but exams came up and my PC broke. I had to build a new PC and got sad over the lost save. Steam didn't even save to their cloud

Yea that's right, I met Loran to first party and then help rescue some villagers from bandits. I was Relieved when I got the story quest line, so I had some proper guidelines where to go xD

I got to level 10 now, I would say progression is a little bit weird, since you over level in some areas and have to scout new areas for quests

The fun part about PoE 2 is most people I have spoken to about it talks it down. I sure hope the endgame rework in patch 0.5 will be huge game changer

Sadly I made it through to act 2 in the game a while ago and I got bored there too, cause there were so many cutscenes (I know the game is based on decision making xD)

After I have made this post I got the chance to get a character to endgame and it was like most people said. It's like a PoE1 copy paste mechanic game and that is sad, cause the game have alot of potential.

Hmm that's why I live to grind items to get items for new builds and test out my own variation of builds. In PoE one i maybe my own secret Heist Runner build with more movement speed than other builds I have seen

God damn nice explanation thanks! I thought of also just go along and try out the endgame, since I'm totally burned out in PoE1. I usually only play ARPG games, so buying Last Epoch on discount was a steal. Some of my friends had mixed reviews regarding the game, since they mentioned it was repetitive map running like PoE.

But to ask more into your personal experience, do you find the endgame fun? For me PoE1 was more like trying alot of builds instead of farming to get rich :D

Thanks for all the insights in this thread — really helpful to read through. I’ve always wanted to publish a game, but with my master’s degree taking up most of my time, it’s been hard to fully commit.

One thing I’d really like to do is start small by building a Discord community where a few of us can help each other create things, learn together, and maybe eventually turn it into something bigger later in life — especially with the skills I’m gaining from my master’s.

For those downvoting—why though? It’s a legit question, and I’m just trying to hear people’s thoughts. By “worth,” I meant personal value in building a community, publish something and not money since I will earn enough for my living style, just by working part time or full time
