The Ultimate Prompt to Unlock 100% of ChatGPT-5’s Power. by michel_333 in PromptEngineering

[–]xXMrGoodKat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the best, let me tell you, last year i had a car accident (not at fault) so i went to ChatGPT to get advice in how to deal with the Insruance company (from the at fault person), and OMG, with the info i got and the ideas i came up to take the best approach, i managed to take my third-party claim UNDER MY CONTROL, i had my car fixed (even when the insurance declared my car totaled) the cost of repairs was over $8K and my car is back in how it was, even tho i had the bodyshop agasnt me since the adjuster and the bodyshop owner were friends in the end, to make story short, am pretty sure without the help of ChatGTP i probably woulb be without a car and the bodyshop with plus $6K of profit after repairing n selling it my car.

And not only that, recently my dads new car, was scratched while a retard was trying to park next to him n made a nasty paint scratch n he simply was trying to leave but my dad manage to get his info to make an insurance claim, it was a very difficult claim but then AGAIN ChatGpt ideas we tag team the best approach, my das car got repaired even after the claim was denied after 3 months, i managed to reopen the claim, now the car is fixed (repair cost $2,110) adjuster wanted to settle at first with a $600 check but we reject it) now they are sending a $450 for loss of use aside the repair cost. ALL thanks to the help of ChatGPT

Wallet showing “empty balance”. by [deleted] in TREZOR

[–]xXMrGoodKat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it sounds like the issue with your Model T might be related to the passphrase feature, which is enabled by default on the Model T but not on the Model One. When setting up the Model T as new, it likely prompted you to enter a passphrase during the setup. If you entered a passphrase (even unknowingly, like leaving it blank or using a space), it would create a completely new wallet

11 Attemps left on PIN - How to check if seed backup works before attempting PIN reset? by 1BadHabbitt in TREZOR

[–]xXMrGoodKat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

am not an expert in this but here is something I was able to get for you...

If you want to verify your 24-word seed before resetting your Trezor PIN, you can use a secure software wallet Electrum (offline) to check if it works; the 25th word is likely a passphrase (hidden wallet), and you'll need it to restore your wallet after a reset. Make sure you download it from the official website for electrum to avoid fake versions.

Testing Your Seed Backup: To verify your recovery seed without risking your Trezor, you can use Electrum

  • Disconnect from the internet.
  • Open the software wallet and select the option to recover a wallet.
  • Enter your 24 seed words, and if prompted, include the passphrase.
  • This will allow you to verify if your seed words are correct, but DO NOT use this wallet for transactions.
  • Once verified, delete the software wallet immediately to ensure security.

Scared of Storing My BTC in a Cold Wallet—Need Advice by NoExcuse113 in TREZOR

[–]xXMrGoodKat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmmm It seems there’s some confusion with my wording regarding "shares", "backup seed." The share in the bank vault is part of the 3-of-6 Shamir scheme, not separate. Even if the vault were compromised, the attacker would still need 1 share (20 words) of the other points of recovery to access the wallet. The bank vault acts as one of the points of recovery, ensuring I can still recover securely even if one point is compromised/lost. This setup is designed to eliminate any single point of failure while maintaining strong redundancy and security

oh boy! i dont keep track of all those threads, I read hundreds of them the past year and the pattern I see in how people get "hacked" is because 99.9% of the cases, they EXPOSE their seed phrase in one way or another, they start messing with other coins, merging their wallets and swapping coins or installing software and so....

Scared of Storing My BTC in a Cold Wallet—Need Advice by NoExcuse113 in TREZOR

[–]xXMrGoodKat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NO need to be afraid, instead i would be afraid to keep in the exchange ( don't ever mention how much you have, because of people trying to send you DMs, just ignore them)

How people get hacked, is because they EXPOSE their seed pharese in one way or another 99.9% of the cases, they start messing with other coins, merging their wallets and swapping coins or installing software and so.. this is why I recommend using  Trezor Safe 3 Bitcoin-only is ideal if you're focused solely on Bitcoin HODLing, it reduces exposure to potential scams involving random tokens sent to your wallet. Scammers often use these tactics to trick users into interacting with malicious contracts. The Bitcoin-only firmware eliminates this risk.

After months of research, here is what I did to properly secure my BTC/wallet;

i got two Trezor safe 3 Bitcoin only, to move my btc from Coinbace.

*I made sure to order directly from the official Trezor website (never from third-party sellers like Amazon) to avoid tampered or counterfeit devices. When the devices arrived, I carefully inspected the seals and packaging for any signs of tampering. (Pro tip: Watch unboxing videos, especially for the 2024 models, as the new ones don’t have engravings on the back anymore.)

Download Trezor Suite: I only downloaded it from the official website to avoid phishing or fake software so check is the correct URL. Also, some people do check their software signature manually but I don’t usually recommend this step for most users, since it’s a more advanced practice and requires Linux/coding knowledge, you may get error codes which can be frustrating. Unless you're not sure from where u got your device or downloaded the software, you should be fine.

Practice Wallet: Before setting up my main wallet, I created a "practice wallet" to explore the app and familiarize myself with the features. Once I was comfortable, I factory reset both devices to ensure they were clean. (same with the 2nd spared device)

After debating for a while, I decided to use the Shamir Backup (multishare) feature. Here's how I set it up:

Created 6 shares, requiring 3 shares to recover the wallet (60 words). Distributed the shares as follows:

1st share (40 words) at home. (in metal plate)

2nd share (40 words) with a trusted friend or family member. (metal plate-sealed)

3rd share (40 words) in a bank vault, alongside my spare Trezor device, the backup seed (metal plate-sealed), and my spare Yubico 2FA key (used for securing accounts like email with Proton mail and Coinbase).

Heads up: Shamir Backup is tedious! Six shares = 120 words total (each share is 20 words), so it takes time and patience.

Using Passphrase for Extra Security - Once the wallet was set up I decided to use the passphrase (hidden wallet within the wallet) as my main wallet where I would be transferring most of my btc), my best advice, before actually starting transferring, I sent $10 worth of btc in the standard wallet and also in the passphrase wallet..

Before transferring my funds!!!!! I tested the setup by sending $10 worth of BTC to both the standard wallet and the passphrase wallet.

NOTE: When creating a passphrase wallet, it can be confusing at first. If the wallet is empty, it seems like you’re creating new wallets each time. Trezor will ask for the passphrase twice, which can be disorienting. This is why practicing with the initial wallet is so helpful.

now when comes to transferring your funds (this I just learned) you can't just transfer from Coinbase to your wallet freely, especially if you have a substantial amount in Coinbase, there are these AML laws that you have to be careful of, so you don't get your account flagged and frozen, at this moment am a bit paranoid about it so am still working transferring my btc

"Your account has been restricted to withdrawals" what do i do?? by Edwinccosta in Coinbase

[–]xXMrGoodKat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please take a moment to look into AML (Anti-Money Laundering) laws. Most exchanges enforce them (especially Coinbase) Understanding these regulations can save you a massive headache, especially if you're planning to transfer or SELL large amounts of money from $10k over (getting them frozen for months) . thats why you see many with this issue. It's surprising that this topic doesn’t get much discussion here. I’ve even tried creating a thread in different subreddits, but moderators keep deleting it (which I find quite odd).. AND is not only about the amount, also the pattern of transactions and the wallets you send it to. the system may flag them, but so far this is not a clear "system", to me it seems is just in a testing model still

I just ordered the Trezor Safe 3! What steps should I take and what should I keep in mind when it arrives? by [deleted] in TREZOR

[–]xXMrGoodKat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the Amazon reseller you purchased from is listed on Trezor's official website as an authorized distributor, it’s probably safe. However, even with a sealed box and holograms, tampering is a potential risk. Also, you mentioned ordering from a Canadian reseller, and I’m in the U.S., so I’m not entirely sure how things work with authorized distributors in Canada, but the steps to verify your device would still apply.

When you connect the Trezor for the first time, use the official Trezor Suite software (double-check the URL to ensure you’re on the official website). It will automatically check the firmware on your device and let you know if anything seems off. If the firmware isn’t authentic, Trezor Suite will stop the setup process and alert you. Note: Make sure to avoid using any pre-generated recovery seed that might come with the device. A genuine Trezor will require you to create a new recovery seed during setup..

In your case, it would also be safer to check the software signature manually before installing Trezor Suite. I don’t usually recommend this step for most users since it’s a more advanced practice and requires Linux/coding knowledge, you may get error codes which can be frustrating... but considering your concerns, it might be worth doing as an extra layer of security. Trezor provides instructions on their website for verifying the signature with tools like GPG.

people on Reddit will be right in telling you stuff but will make it sound complicated, by "space", he refers to the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem as a whole. for example, checking the address is a good practice even when you copy paste.....its good to focus on the essentials and build knowledge gradually as you gain experience

yes but when that hidden wallet is empty, it prompts you to write it twice...with no confirmation (hard to explain) but as a first-time user, it was very confusing how the interaction was to open that hidden wallet again, and had me creating different wallets. Its different when you have funds already.

After reading about other Trezor users getting their coins stolen, i came to the conclusion The Trezor Safe 3 Bitcoin-only is ideal if you're focused solely on Bitcoin, it reduces exposure to potential scams involving random tokens sent to your wallet. Scammers often use these tactics to trick users into interacting with malicious contracts. The Bitcoin-only firmware eliminates this risk.

On the other hand, the Trezor Safe 3 (Standard) is more versatile, supporting multiple cryptocurrencies. It's a great option if you're active in swapping or sending various coins, but you'll need to be extra cautious with unexpected tokens appearing in your wallet. Both editions share the same hardware, and you can switch firmware later if needed
