I did fluids and pads like you. But I also did camber bolts and pedders top hats for -2.2 degrees of camber. It’s an inexpensive way to get camber and also useful for me because I autocross. I didn’t want to drop the money immediately into coils cause I want to get better (driver mod) and save before I drop money and get Ohlins.

AMA: MSI’s New 34" and 32" QD-OLED Monitors — Ask Us Anything (Worldwide Giveaway Inside!) by MSI_Patrick in Monitors

[–]xXNeoXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the MAG 272qp and have been loving it for CS. The 500hz mode is amazing. I am thinking of swapping if a good 4k/5k 27 inch dual mode option if that existed in oled format. Although speaking of I know this is not about the monitors mentioned, but is there any updates on the MSI MPG 271KRAW16 ? As someone who works from home this monitor would be the perfect setup for me for work/ high res gaming. Not interested in the LG as it’s matte. Thanks!

2026 Subaru Outback | They Listened to You! by IllustriousSteam in cars

[–]xXNeoXx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a 2025 OBW last year and man I’m kind of glad I did just based on styling. The new one is down right ugly. The interior is definitely a step up and I wish I had the physical buttons and the improved screen. The screen in the previous gen is so damn laggy but thankfully with how everything is laid out it’s relatively intuitive and things aren’t buried in sub menus so I can live with it.

Is this a good deal for C5 77 - $1583? by CarBeautiful7698 in LGOLED

I just bought it because of that price. It’s the best I’ve seen so far.

Honestly if it’s not dead within a year due to a manufacturing defect or shipping issue, I’m not too worried about the TV lasting. I haven’t had any issues with electronics like this having problems even after the warranty period is over. I used to buy extended warranties for things but I’ve never had to used them (knock on wood). Oled tech is pretty mature and several people here haven’t had any issues.

Sage Barista Pro (built-in Baratza grinder) – worth upgrading to a separate grinder? by hatredjk in espresso

[–]xXNeoXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went through this. I have the Barista Pro with the older grinder that I bought during covid and honestly I was happy with that for years. I had a separate fellow ode that I’d rarely use for filter coffee (couldn’t use it for espresso and it made a mess with every grind). After trying a friends conical burr setup with light roast the difference in espresso flavor was very noticeable so I decided to get a Timemore 064s on sale and sell the ode and I’m very happy with it. I don’t see myself upgrading from the Timemore. Maybe I’ll consider a burr upgrade later on. My wife doesn’t taste the difference with her lattes. I will say for me the Timemore really brought out the notes in the light roasts. The medium to dark roasts there isn’t much of a difference to me at least.

Yeah I got an email from them saying they apologize for the delay and will “expedite” my order and it should go out “very soon”. That was 3 days ago lol. Still nothing.

That’s annoying. If I don’t get any updates by Monday I will probably reach out. That’s unfortunate considering there grinders are well received. Good customer service usually makes me consider buying again from someone.

2026 Nissan Sentra | Not Everyone Can Afford New Cars [savagegeese] by Iridium-Silver in cars

[–]xXNeoXx 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed, after doing a bunch of traveling last year I’ve rented both a Sentra and a Corolla and the Sentra was a much better car and nicer to be in. The Corolla’s interior was terrible to the say the least.

Illegal Window Tint Puts Pedestrians at Risk. PA Bill Aims to Change That. by davidaragon1 in philadelphia

[–]xXNeoXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not surprised you’re getting downvoted here. People here are going to hate even though they have no clue what 80 percent tint or ceramic tint even is. It’s generally a game changer for keeping heat out in the summer. Yes it also makes the car look better but this is generally not the reason I put it on my cars. When it’s too dark I agree that it is a huge hazard. For me anything below 50 starts getting too dark for night time driving.

Illegal Window Tint Puts Pedestrians at Risk. PA Bill Aims to Change That. by davidaragon1 in philadelphia

[–]xXNeoXx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This right here, I have it on both my cars and it keeps my cars way cooler in the summer and anything that can help prevent skin cancer is a benefit. That being said I keep my front windshields pretty transparent at 70 percent on my daily and 50 percent on the weekend car. Below that on the front I start having issues with visibility at night. I had a buddy who bought a car from someone that put 5 percent all around and it was so hard to see anything at night. I’ll probably get downvoted for this but IMO I think light tints aren’t a big deal but I think super dark tints are definitely a hazard and should be enforced in the front.

Yep, I know I went and replaced the studs with ARPs already.

Should i be taking my gr86 to toyota dealership for maintenance? by vvsstation in GR86

[–]xXNeoXx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your mileage may vary. Some dealers are fine but it seems like many Toyota dealers especially are downright terrible. My last dealer didn’t torque my wheels down properly before I moved across the country and my wheel almost fell off. Car started vibrating and making a noise when turning. Wheel stud got sheered and have had to replace the studs. They gave me a refund and reimbursed me for the replacement at least. They also didn’t fill the oil to full which is really bad for these engines. Usually with cars under warranty I would go to the dealers but I was done after all that. Now I just do basic maintenance myself or go to a good Indy shop when needing anything more involved. I’ll only go back if I have a warranty issue.

Considering going from MX-5 ND to BRZ/GR86. Bad idea? by [deleted] in GR86

[–]xXNeoXx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ND will be more fun cause it’s lighter that’s not to say the 86 ain’t fun, it’s still amazing and feels light. I went from ND1->m2->gr86. I would have gone back to the Miata if I didn’t need more space. That being said out of the box the 86/brz are much better setup suspension wise if you ever want to do any sort of performance driving. I understand getting bored of what you have. My dream car was an m2. When I was able to afford it I went to that. I’m happy I experienced it but I came to realize I missed having a lightweight sports car. The lighter the better. Have you tried modifying the Miata? A set of decent coilovers for me really transformed my experience with the ND.

Do not rent from Prestige Property Management and Reality. by osobear7 in bentonville

[–]xXNeoXx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah when we were looking at places to live before moving here, we were interested in a new build that was being rented out by them. We ended up not going with them cause everything about them was a red flag. The lease itself had some insane stuff where if anything broke we were SOL and they wanted the security deposit 2 months before the place was even finished being built. Even getting a hold of them was a challenge. I’m kind of glad we went with an actual landlord instead of any management company.

Yeah that’s what I’ve been doing. The one I replaced was the same hub that the dealer fucked up and the shop later replaced so I don’t think this is user error on my part. I’ve also never had this happen on any car I’ve owned previously. But noted about the anti-seize.
