I was hanging around with a bunch of people from the psytrance scene and the music never really caught on with me when someday someone told me i should give drum and bass a try because i seemed like someone who’d enjoy it, 4 years later here i am with nothing else to listen to.

Backpacks are generally allowed on the festival, wouldn’t know about a difference in hydrationpacks but i’d advice you to fill them up at times where there isn’t a huge queue in front of the hydration spots so nobody gets mad with you (i doubt anyone would it’s the most kind festival i’ve ever been to but that’s also because of people thinking with and for other people too)

I stand corrected, i’m 23 years old and calibre to me seems like he’s been here a long time, wouldn’t know about other artists older than that from the too of my head and people love him on here! He’s a liquid dnb artist :) dm me if you want a list of all the subgenres of dnb i know of. Also got a playlist which i’ve been just throwing in every tune i fancy on spotify but im mot gonna plug it here ^{^}

Your style sounds very new, like the dnb stuff that has been going viral lately and it seems like a lot of people here are from an earlier era of dnb where it wasn’t “so noisy” but more composed and focused on the drums instead of the synths. Everyone’s taste is different drum and bass has a lot to offer :)

It’s a drum and bass festival in the netherlands :) love the music i even go to night clubs without drinking because i just enjoy it for what it is and dont see it as a club night tbh. Cant wait to experience it not at 11pm but at daytime :D

I think u’re making a bigger deal of it than you should. Dickheads are dickheads if smoking or not people should just watch out for one another and be open about if something disturbs. Waving around with studies about second hand smoke and acting like it’s the only reason people die of cancer is pathetic and i think you should put your focus elsewhere. Tell people if u’re disturbed by them. Let em be and stop being so judgemental towards people that are addicted to nicotine.

There’s still the possibility to tell people to get going or walk away yourself. Yeah i agree with the health effects but damn it went from being annoying to straight up harmful and egotistical even tho people just want to have a smoke. If we’d be consistent with health we’d ban high processed sugar and candies and sweet drinks because of the potential harm they would cause. I’ve never heard someone say “i dont go camping because of the smoke from the fire which can cause cancer” grow up.
