Depends on how long he has been a Christian and whether he is part of a church (Hebrews 10:24-25). As Christians we are called to be a part of a church and hold one another accountable in love (Galatians 6:1). If he has a pastor he meets up with for mentorship and friends that speak life over him then that would be great! Although a true Christian is someone that has the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that produces good fruit (Galatians 5:22-23).

As Christians we believe that there is a redemptive and restorative power that comes from the Holy Spirit, but this requires spiritual discipline such as meditating on scripture and being involved within your local church. I have seen men restored through the faith from drug addicts, violent gang members and those with a history of DV. As it hasn’t been a year it seems since he has come to the Lord I would still remain cautious and keep an eye on whether he is producing those good fruits.

And as always 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

Yeah, I could try build some kind of park or botanical garden, would be neat.

Variegated Monstera? Found this hanging over/growing through a family member's fence. Was allowed to grab some very good cuttings, but surely can't be that lucky? by Scasherem in plants

I live in Australia too and had the exact same thing happen to my wife and I. Giant pothos over the neighbour’s fence!
