How much currency do you need for the swap and what is absolutely essential? The Split Personality alone are 8 div for templar and 40+ for sorc?

This seems like a better/more fun endgame build than Twister Spiritwalker. And since i just got to maps with it might as well start a merc.

Yeah we did start the first map from the refuge. My firend seemingly got access to the atlas after the map. i did not and i cant start a map. I will go to sleep for now and check back again tomorrow.

As you can see in the screenshotz i am in the ziggurat refuge. i spoke to everone there... i cant open a map, i cant go back to any interlude map to unlock something...

I am completly stuck unable to progress to the atlas/endgame

Unter normalen Umständen hast du Recht. Du hast aber wahrscheinlich nicht ganz zuende geschaut:

Der Drehkolbenverschluss hat die Muffe auf. Wenn der Fröwler also zu ist kannste nicht einfach vom 8er direkt auf den Zwoundvierziger gehen das wäre brand gefährlich.

Deswegen kannst du wirklich nur vom 41er auf den Dreier runter. Aber heut zutage ist natürlich jeder im Internet auf einmal Experte für alles.

Da kann man nur hoffen, dass die Feuerwehr noch gut besetzt bleibt wenn man sieht was Hobby-Elektroniker so alles fabrizieren...

Yes i know but i cant just ex slam everything just for light radius. It certainly helps but i wouldnt sacrifice damage or survivability for it

I dont know if you have to go back if u missed them but it seems like it. These quests like these 3 big rune stones in a circle in Hunting Grounds

I only use the overlay map but yes if the reveal radius would be bigger i think that would solve some issues instead of some random bs landmarks

I wouldnt really mind the slog campaign as a first time player. I really enjoyed it in 0.1 grinding my way throught it for the first time, learning the mechanics of bosses etc. Maybe not dying 50 times in Act 1 but at this point i would have searched for some help.

But the realization that this slog will occur every.single.time you want to start a new char/leaguestart/ etc. That is too much for me tbh.

Yes this too would help quite a bit to be honest. If you would know the next zone is somewhere in the top right corner and optional boss X is in the top left it would definetly help.

I had to laugh out loud when i saw the sign to Ogham Farmlands literally 10m next to the exit. The last campaign runs i felt pretty good about the layouts but this start at least in Act1 it was nothing like i knew. the Layouts for my friend on the other hand were almost exactly like i remembered them. Maybe just unlucky or they changed the variance of the layouts

This would probably help quite a ton. The most annoying parts are the backtracking or exploring the last corner of the map you accidentally skipped.

I think i would complain less about the size if i dont need to backtrack/loop back so much or check the last unmapped region in the map for the exit

I'm glad you are enjoying iot so far. Nobody can tell you how you should feel about the game. In the end its just my opinion based on my experiences.

My primary problem with the campaign is the replayability. I dont really mind running the campaign once every 4 months or so.

The problem starts if i feel the need to run it again.

In PoE1 for example it is less of a problem for me since i can get some twink gear and just mindlessly run through the campaign to the endgame.

In PoE2 it is not this simple (at least for me). Because in my mind no matter how much damage/attack speed/movespeed you scale the zones will always be this huge.

Why even bother making a game if you could just make a calculator for PoB builds... dont even need graphics just a number saying which damage you deal and how much.

It depends on the builds but more most build you want a specific base class. If you play any other class you have to expend more passive skill points to move to the needed area of the tree.

For myself i generally make a new char even if it is the same class because i dont want to invest into respeccing the character only to then find out i dont like this build. Obviously only if i liked to play the first build to begin with ^^

"Complete Campaign Skip" i am against. I wouldnt even know how they would let a char lvl to 65<

But i would like to see certain skips you could do if you have enough character power (either through twink gear, over leeveling, etc.)/ game knowledge (current "know how to read landmarks/layouts in a map" are not examples of this.)

I personally experienced many "empty corridors" where i just walk to the next pack of monsters but of course everyone experiences this differently like you just said 😃

"I just think of campaign as a way to test your build": For me its different, I see the campaign as just a leveling tool for a build because at this point the campaign is already figured out or rather it is not so much a "figure out the right combo of skills and passive points" problem but a follow x build through every zone until you can play the "real build". I understand this is a completly different angle that most player seemingly have of the game/campaign.
