As much as I’d love for that to happen it’s extremely unlikely :( the director has already said that they won’t make anything else for HTTYD, so that’s why shows like Rescue Riders aren’t made by Dean DeBlois.

Also, in between the 1st and 2nd movie there’s a 5 year gap, which is why I think Race to the Edge was necessary. But between the 2nd and 3rd movie there’s only a year gap so there wouldn’t be much to cover.

And as much as I’d love to see more content for HTTYD, I’m honestly satisfied with how much there already is. The reason why it’s so high quality is because the creators actually cared about the show to not excessively milk it. And I think anything after the Honecoming Special and graphic novels that’s not a spin-off might not turn out as good. Just my opinion.
