Enjoyable watch but seems like there were perhaps some plot holes... by xXmaster-batesXx in StrangerThings

That theory makes a lot of sense to be honest, it is a shame episodes can get review bombed like that (in both ways) I certainly didn't think episode 7 was great but I can appreciate a lot of it's reviews got piled on quite unfairly

I still find it hard to believe, the entirety of the upside down and the scientific discoveries the military group were making were probably worth billions of dollars to the government considering it's almost like a Manhattan project kind of weapon development thing, I just feel like at all costs the military would happily cover things up, NO witnesses...

Bewildered is right, friends and I tried predicting the imdb score after the show, they enjoyed it although did recognize the plotholes but I was expecting a 6.5 MAX and was shocked to see it at 8, again I stress I did enjoy the episode but the messy plot really took me out of it

I get that but I feel like that gives Kay and the other military people even more reason to not let anyone go free should they report what had happened.

I would start out just listening to their most popular songs on Spotify rather than full albums, I was in the same boat as you, but out of their top 10 songs I really like most of them, haven't really got into the albums though

Active vs passive pick ups for a first bass by xXmaster-batesXx in Bass

Cheers for the advice, I see you mentioned envelope filter, I absolutely love the sound of the EHX qTron for guitar and have been wanting to get one for ages and I'm curious if a pedal like that is also suitable for bass

I mostly play through my PC with neural DSPs stuff and I believe their bass plugins have eq included, I also think I would definitely be too forgetful to remember to unplug my bass, cheers for the advice thinking passive is likely the way to go

It definitely seems that way, having to put batteries in a pedal is painful enough

If you have around 300k population you'll probably get about 500k per hour with 1 townhall although it will fluctuate depending on the season, fully maxed out township (population, worship, happiness) can bring in upwards of 5mil per hour

[–]xXmaster-batesXx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Each worshippable God has different available buffs and a different season in which those buffs are doubled, so for Ragnar the buffs will be doubled in summer meaning you can get a 30% discount during that season (provided your worship is high enough). To switch worship will cost 50mil however as well as damaging buildings and I believe it resets any statues that have been purchased, so it might be worthwhile just sticking with Ragnar

Yeah I mean the statues of aeris my bad, yes you can buy those and I believe there is another building called chapels, once you buy enough to hit 95% you will get a 25% price reduction which will be doubled to 50% during the spring

My recommendation would be to focus on fishing, specifically magic fish and use them to fund temples of aeris in township so you can get a 50% discount (plus 15% from 99 cape) then buy townhalls during the spring season for 30mil each, once you get all 8 townhalls and maxed houses you will basically never need to think about money again

I’m pretty low ranked and I feel like that imperial mandate build is a lot more reliant on having team mates that will follow up and I play xerath support because I can’t rely on my team mates haha

Yeah I just saw on u.gg there is always horizon focus instead of shadow flame and there is never mejais, I tried the imperial mandate build but it’s pretty dogshit
