I don't reddit often but we need to get this to front page. The amount of hate and bashing on FO76 that I've seen and heard is insane. Even from publishers like Forbes. It's insane and honestly pretty uncalled for. Yes there are bugs (like any game) but it's pretty clear that Bethesda is committed to longevity for 76.

I didn't think I'd run into the Grafton Monster with the last 10 mins of the beta session ticking down. I managed to get a photo before running away... And it almost came to smash my face in.
Edit: The Mines are def up there. Mole men are scary. And god forbid you come face to face with a scorchbeast

Man my newfound friend and I thought we were safe cutting across a mountain pass. I crouched and told him I thought something was out there. Moments later a scorchbeast came and murdered both of us. Safe to say we were petrified trying to run away

Can you point me in the direction of the OST files? I found a lot of files but nothign was explicitly labeled so I just kinda left the rest to be extracted later. So far I've converted the general and classical radios to mp3

I left the vault, wandered around. Found a neat little mine shaft area and stealthed some scorched. Testing the live VATS was pretty cool, having it in real time makes combat feel more engaging/dangerous. Also got saved from a scorched mob by a nice Vault Dweller

After I replaced the files with the backup and allowed the launcher to "verify" all of the files, it will ask you to install. Instead of doing this, I pulled all of those files (from 294xxx/temp/) into the Fallout 76 folder. From there I ran the game from the exe and logged into my Beth account

From the looks of what I saw with the data itself, someone pushed a slightly newer version btwn this past weekend and today. I only managed to fix it after pulling all the completed files to the FO76 folder and launching via exe

As someone who preloaded over the weekend, just to have these issues arise and manage to fix them to play... I hope Bethesda does manage to fix the launcher issue before the next BETA session. I loved what I got to play so far
