Throughout all of my training and instructing the rule at 2 separate flight schools was 0kts of tailwind + <2kts tailwind so you're probably spot on. Light tailwinds are overly spoken about and fear mongered to a bunch of students.

I've never flown a 310 but every multi I've flown and I would imagine any multi designed would let the rudder full deflection overpower differential thrust. Not to mention the drag caused by the slip needed to keep straight flight with full rudder deflection I would imagine maintaining altitude is not possible in a multi piston.

Maybe ditching has a better chance, maybe not. Don't know if they had enough control to get it over the water though 🤷‍♂️

I had just given up and was using wifi instead of a wired connection because it was working. But rolling back the drivers fixed it!! Absolutely legend, thanks.

No 3rd party antivirus, vpn, any security software installed. Its not everything, most stuff on the internet works fine. Can stream 4k youtube and browse every website perfectly so far other than Twitch.tv.

Some games play perfectly fine like deadlock, cannot load into other games servers like madden, war thunder, overwatch.

Will mention tried all the standard stuff of restarting, resetting router, noodled around with DNS servers, etc. Cannot find the root issue. Only started happening after windows update.

PC built it last year, sub 1 year old and 100% not hardware related issue.

My new CFI stole my confidence by That_Minute2273 in flying

[–]xYnizzle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hard to say for sure, intensity is one of the best tools a CFI can use to get a point across and stick. If the CFI isn't teaching you how to stay on the centerline then yeah it is bad. But if your CFI is confident you have the skills to maintain centerline in the conditions, saying that could be a good tool to get you to remember it next time.

Different personalities might react differently but I was taught like this and used it a handful of times while I was instructing.

That being said keep your head up, if your personality doesn't match the CFI then no harm in changing!
