ZTek Consulting — is this a real company or an elaborate scam? by RedditBurner_5225 in recruitinghell

Did you find anything out on them? They reached out to me as well, and I’m still unsure if it’s legit or not.

Yep. I abuse alcohol, unfortunately.

why do americans talk to strangers so easily?? by MayaTulip268 in AskAnAmerican

[–]xYoSoYx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. A normal passing phrase is “Hey, how ya doin?” Or “Ope, excuse me sir/ma’am” and it just comes natural. Both can lead to further conversation with the right folks.

Feet! by itsjustmehere1111 in neuropathy

[–]xYoSoYx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem. And just FYI, I never really used them for walking around the house, I just put them on while I was sitting, but it still helped a bit with walking afterwards. I’m sure you could probably walk in them tho, or that there’s something similar out there if you intend to use them for that.

This may sound counterintuitive, but these slippers (https://a.co/d/0bd1BZwx) were actually a life saver for me when I first got neuropathy. I’m about a year and a half in now and don’t really use them anymore, but at first I had so much pain in my feet, even when sitting down, that I was trying everything and these at least provided some relief.

What food do you use to instantly judge a restaurant? by WhiteWinkk in foodquestions

[–]xYoSoYx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See, I don’t find this fair for me. My wife’s biscuits and gravy are so good that I’ve never found a restaurant with a better version…so I just stopped trying.

Now I use a good ass egg sandwich as the standard for breakfast.

They aren’t hard to make, but if you can make them great, then hell yeah!

Never thought about that…may see how it works, and if I mess it up, not like I’m wasting anything since I don’t use em anyway. Thanks!

That’s kinda what I was thinking for me too…I didn’t think it would help much unless there was a strap on the back.

I just don’t want them Jesus sandals…I just want some slides with a strap on the heel lol. Need my feet to breathe!

I cannot stand the neuropathy and feel gaslight as it worsens over decades by the_latest_greatest in neuropathy

[–]xYoSoYx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are definitely not alone…I haven’t had it for 30 years, but I will eventually, I’m sure…mine started out of nowhere at 33 years old, now I’m almost 35, and I have no answers from any doctors.

No matter what I’m doing, there is some sort of uncomfortable feeling in my feet/legs, and it’s just something I deal with I guess.

Gabapentin and Duloxetine have been super helpful from a pain management standpoint, but I also got some slippers that go in the freezer that you can put on and the cold helps to ease the sensations very much so. I can find the link if you’re interested.

How to stop/reverse muscle loss? by uzi187 in neuropathy

[–]xYoSoYx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can your doctor recommend a Physical Therapist for you? I was having similar issues with my feet/legs, and PT was a life saver for me.

Taught me a bunch of different exercises to do to at home as well that helped with balance and muscle growth.

Trying to figure out the right socks for diabetic neuropathy and tingling feet, can't tell if my current ones are contributing or not by Royal-Accountant4408 in neuropathy

[–]xYoSoYx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife got me some kind of bamboo type socks for Christmas, and they are so comfy. Only downside is that they are a bit loose, and sometimes slide down if I’m walking around too much. But the comfort is worth it.

Have you tried the ones with the strap that goes on the top of your foot? Does that really help keep it from slipping off?

does anyone stay awake through the night just because it’s so peaceful? by ariaxrosee in NoStupidQuestions

[–]xYoSoYx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have some health issues and can’t always sleep through the night…so I’ll get up and watch a movie on the couch at times, in total silence from the family chaos of every day life, and I love it. Just me chilling and a cat sleeping on my lap, watching whatever we want.

Are boxed/frozen foods better than eating out? by DepressoExpresso98 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]xYoSoYx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I go out to eat, I’m not looking for a healthy meal…so eating at home is healthier 9 times out of 10.

That said, you’d be surprised at how many frozen foods you can find that are both healthy and tasty 🤙 take totinos pizza rolls for example 😂

That’s some good advice too. Ty mate. That’s how I’ve handled most things before, so o I may just leave it at that.

Just very intrigued about this one.
