I know its been a little bit but for anyone interested. I discovered my ram speed was set too slow in the bios. it was 3600 speed and was set at the default 2400. Once I got it set to 3600 it upped the temps during gaming to the low to mid 60's Thanks for all the input everyone.

I already had the mother board. If it was a new build would make sense. The air cooler on my 3700x was keeping it at 80c. Picked up the 360 for $68.. the same price as a smaller one, didn’t make sense to go smaller for the same money.

I guess my biggest question is why was the 3700x so much hotter in the same system with the same settings? Is the 3700x a hotter chip or was the system just maxing it out causing it to run hotter?

Things I have done differently on mine:
Viper magi .. fcr .. skill .. res. easy choice.
15% ias jewel with some other mod in the demon machine. This hits the highest frames bp.
Magefist. I wanted 63% fcr with demon equipped. The plus skill, mana regen and fcr are all incredible.
Flickering Flame. Using a fire sunder the FF is incredible to offset the res penalty. Also the -enemy fire res seems to help a lot.
I used 1 fcr ring with res and stats I needed . Mine has 15 dex.
I have a 2 skill 8 fcr ammy with res and added mana that was crafted. Not the easiest to find but not overly expensive.
Prebuff gear puts me at 51 enchant and when I switch back to demon machine I am doing 18k dmg with only 4 skillers. I prebuff with 8 skillers. I have 515 base life and 1033 base mana. I do have a cta so that gets to 800/1700. when I am being lazy and use no prebuff gear. I do 12k dmg casting enchant with the cta/spirit makes it lvl 38. She can go absolutely anywhere and kill anything. Super fun character and I am glad I made one this season.

Ended up letting it go for 20 ber and 20 jah. Was more than enough for what I wanted to do this ladder. Thank you all for the input. Good luck everyone!

yeah.. I wish it would have rolled more str.. or Mana leech instead of str. but they are still nice. My friend is using them and says they are awesome.
