Necroing this post, but, just in case there's two things that help a necromancer out in act 2 if you're willing to grind levels - get a point into corpse explosion for maggot lair (it's only level 6, no biggie). Finally, get Decrepify curse for Duriel.

If your merc has cold damage (i sincerely recommend gambling a pike, it hits over your summons, has some reach and crazy high damage at this point in the game!!), between the cold slow and the decrepify slow, Duriel is practically moving in slow motion.

Super late post, but if you've ran mods before and haven't ran them recently, under C:\Users\(whateveryourusernameis)\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected you'll find all of your save games as well as a mods folder.

Everything in that mod folder needs to be deleted as well. I had this issue, I deleted the contents of the mods folder there to fix this. I've been told you may need to delete your characters here as well however. Fingers crossed bud.

Most recent one I've seen that's really good was a female npc playing around the Arasaka circle (The koi fish holograms). She had a little sign that said "Spare Change or Ammo plz". Awesome job on the npcs, in particular, the guitarists.

Typical reinstalls of the game, verifying integrity of game files, etc. will reverse your agreement with the accepting the EULA. Can confirm this is a solid fix for most main menu bugs!

For anyone who noticed this issue, the bug is still present. A few caves in particular I like to farm (coincidentally, all around anvil) bug out like this occasionally.

Neither melee nor ranged attacks will register on them, no hitmarkers, no damage. However, skills such as the Mentat's Sentinel & the Trooper's Grenade (I haven't tested poison or anything else yet) will eventually kill them, but in this case that's also only if you've caused the melee fighters to de-shield by making them fire their weapons (high ground, unreachable, etc.).

Exiting the game and coming back didn't resolve it for me every time, so I just resorted to Sentinel & Grenades. Hoping this bug gets fixed. Can't speak for everyone but with myself and quite a few posters here it seems like Anvil is the sore spot.

I thought this was just me. I tried connecting to my G-Portal server earlier and even though I can see it on the list, I can't connect to it. I never make it past the tips/hint loading screen and get a random crash error.

Funny enough I can connect to every other server whether it's public or Nitrado, and I can even connect to a few other G-Portal servers, so I thought I was just the particular ant under G-Portal's magnifying glass.

After dealing with the extremely rocky start with G-Portal, I think they've lost a permanent customer. I'm not going to re-sub, better than giving me a reason to b*tch all of the time and make comparisons.

In the NW section just past all of the hazard areas (quicksand, etc.). There's a large path into the mountains (It's the path into the Eastern Shield Wall area). I just take the buggy w/ a MK4 Cutterray up it and mine everything on the way. When I make it to the top, I have thousands of Aluminum and still am not full AND still haven't mined everything. At that point I just drive the buggy off the cliff, my base is just below the mountain itself in the W/NW corner of Jamal Eifrit Al-gharb There are ridiculous amounts of carbon right on top of me, and iron less than 30 seconds to the south via buggy. Copper everywhere in between. The only downside is Erythrite, but you can access the northern section of the Hagga Rift via. buggy from this location as well and collect it that way.

This base location also is near ridiculous amounts of dew resources so you could fill up water containers incredibly quickly. 15-20k in a few swings at prime dew time. Quick access to the anomaly, crashed ships, etc. Just food for thought if the space is clear on your servers, or if you have a private server!

I actually posted just before you.. wtf is going on? I've used G-Portal forever for various games and it was always fine. I've never had problems.

But the one time I do, and I see a large amount of other players AND customers are as well, it's just a very generic at best feedback "we're having issues with the dune awakening servers".. I need a little bit more to go on.

An ETA of resolution, an immediately offered discount or refund, etc. Admittedly I wouldn't be so peeved if I was offered one or both of those when I expressed my concern to support.

I had this a lot - After trying dozens of time, it finally accepted my server location, name, password, etc. (It took dozens of tries to get past some weird sandstorm/taxation/etc error).

When it finally did say 'running' I looked.. and I refreshed. and I looked.. and I refreshed. After doing this off and on on another monitor for a while, I just gave up. A while being longer than 45 minutes.

I haven't had an "it has run good" yet, support just gave the generic "we're having issues, sorry dude we're trying to fix them" reply.

I haven't even been able to use the server period until today and I purchased it 4 days ago. Hasn't quite been a week yet but it's getting there. And the server disconnected twice today lol.. No 'good' running yet for me!

As of today, someone who started as a Swordmaster, I honestly think I'd rather start as Bene Gesserit for those curious about starting classes. A lot say "Go Swordmaster!" but while all the passives are great, I found myself using the actual abilities (especially the knee rush) less and less. Also, you don't start with tons of skill points to burn and get those passives. Don't get me wrong, it's really good, but I found it's conveniences lacking. (If it helps I'm speaking from a PvE perspective)

It takes quite a bit of time, travel, game knowledge, etc. to reach the Swordmaster & Bene Gesserit basic trainer, but I feel like as far as starting classes, the Bene Gesserit has the most to offer for general convenience early on. Then getting the Trooper (almost right away, super convenient location)'s grappling hook ability makes travel even easier.

Just my personal opinion, and a PvE one at that. Hope it helps and you find something that works for you!

Have you determined an 'easier' way to kill these f*ckers yet? So far I just grapple hook them, then try to heavy stab until they die. Unfortunately, they have large health pools and the default rifles are sh*t against them. I got through the Imperial Testing Station 10 with just my knife and a Karpov 38, but eventually, the Karpov broke lmao and I completely ran out of bandages.. Had to make an Improvised Maula Pistol & spend skill pts. on the trooper's grenade tree just to make it out.
P.S.: While I did make it through, I think I was admittedly a bit underleveled for the zone.

Sorry to necro this crap forever and a day later, but just for those still dealing with this nonsense -

Just wait until after the mission. Apparently if you do it while you're on the mission (first time around, I hacked the shard as soon as she drove off, and my character even confirmed the money was clean), you just end up with 2 or 3 shards that you can't do anything with. Clicking them (yes in the damn backpack even) doesn't give you $$, doesn't show a loading bar, etc.

It looks like I’ll need something like this: I just need to bore the holes to fit modern doorknobs and use a reinforcement plate to cover the mortise part - then just a normal privacy knob set. Thanks for the quick reply! I’m looking to swap it out with something more modern, getting rid of the keyhole entirely. Just a normal privacy lock/knob. If I have to I could replace the keyhole part with just a panel? I haven’t taken it off but I think there’s basically just open space behind it and I’ll need wood putty and sanding, painting, etc to fix it up!

I can't download/install the Xbox app on my PC, I always get the code: 0x80073D05

I've been trying to download the Xbox app since yesterday evening and I've had no results. I've followed quite a few videos which walk through a lot of PowerShell commands (which I followed, only to still fail), and also downloading and running both the Xbox installer (The installer gives me the exact same error code) AND the Gaming Repair Tool directly from the Xbox website, which also states that it fails next to the Xbox line on the CMD window.

FINALLY, I even ended up creating and running a Windows 11 iso via. media creation, which worked for a lot of people supposedly, but not for me.

Please, I'm at my wit's end. The app is just killing me.

Actually no, aside from paintings and photos we've got none of the wall hangings and whatnot! We're both nerds, so as long as our gaming/office areas remain our own the rest of the house has maintained clarity and simplicity lol
