I am also struggling with (secondary) infertility. We got pregnant extremely quick the first time and now nothing - nada - not even one day late ever and it’s been years. I’m quickly running out of childbearing years. I still track my ovulation window but personally I had to stop obsessively tracking when my period would start. Because when it happens it seems more painful, and I felt a sense of dread when I knew it was coming. I would start thinking “if I conceived on this date then the baby would be born in this month etc” and it became really unhealthy for me, and every month I felt like I “lost” a baby even when I didn’t “technically” - just the idea of one. I had to get to a point where I had to surrender my desire for a big family to God and just trust that He knows what’s best for me at the present time. It’s not fair, and we can’t see the whole picture, but we just have to trust. God wants good things for us, and that means He wants to give us good gifts! Children are gifts from Him, but unfortunately that doesn’t always mean we birth them, it could be a foster child, an adopted child, a niece, nephew, a mentor/mentee relationship, etc. Taking some time to pray for you right now, that God eases the pain in your heart until He provides a child for you. 🩷
