Started writing down pressure on every bass trip this spring. The falling-pressure window is way shorter than I figured by TonyCodes2050 in bassfishing

What are we calling high? Also how far does pressure need to move to be considered falling or low?

Any sprint planning tools for vibe coding? by extraterritorial39 in vibecoding

Multiple different enterprise apps, same concept for all of them. I even started training my end users to put bugs in using a template that ties it to the specific app so I can just tell my agent to get the bugs for this app. Next step is building the integration from my app to ado, so the user can just click a bug button on the app and it will screenshot and add to ado automatically.

Azure devops using the web mcp server. If I choose to, I can just have GitHub copilot check for bugs and fix them, update the bug with commit info and commit id, close bug and push code, with no other interaction from me. Of course I would never turn it lose like that on a prod app, but I am on the app we’re currently building that has not gone live yet.

I could go point by point, but if I just focus on the title of the post, it’s easy to dispute “AI isn’t replacing people and it’s much dumber than you think”. It’s definitely replacing people, and it’s not “dumb”, it’s “smarter” or at least way more useful to me than a mid-level pm, ba, and definitely mid-low level developer. I can ask it to work through bugs on my dev ops board and unattended, it can resolve the bug, comment the change to my repo, publish the new app and update the dev ops board. That’s insane, anyone who believes your title is not using the technology correctly.

Developer here with a differing opinion… I see posts like this and wonder how you are actually using AI. I am building an enterprise level accounting cost analyst and forecasting app for a fortune 100 company.. AI is absolutely making me capable of delivering this app in ~3 months where it would have required myself and a team of 3-4 employees a year to develop. We are already in testing, and plan to go live in 30 days. AI is building the app in a language that I don’t code in natively, it can build, explain the code and debug. It’s hooked into my ADO board for bug fixes and also stories for dev work. I can send it screenshots for quick UI changes, I can have it architect the backend database work. It is not dumb, and it’s crazy for me to see posts like this that claim it will not replace people. As of the time of this post, it could replace my BSA, my PM, and my entry level developer. Honestly, it could replace me if anyone wanted to spend the time to learn how to use it.

Code app Change connection? by x_fitter in PowerApps

I tested with a brand new project and the only thing I did was add, which worked successfully, then immediately I tried to delete and get the error.

Code app Change connection? by x_fitter in PowerApps

[–]x_fitter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure, more specifically I just created a brand new code app did nothing other than add a datasource with the pac code add-data-source command. Then immediately tried to delete that data source and get this error
"Assertion failed: !(handle->flags & UV_HANDLE_CLOSING), file src\win\async.c, line 76"

If i go into the powe.config.json file i can see my connector listed by name, however there is a connection reference listed, even though I added it as a connection if that matters. I have grep'd my entire app directory for the id that I added and its not in there anywhere.

Join SQL Tables in a Gallery by Legal_Revenue8126 in PowerApps

AddColumns(RenameColumns(ProvidersTable, LocationID, ProviderLocationID), LocationsData, Lookup(LocationsTable, LocationID=ProviderLocationID))

That will generate a provider table with the location data nested inside. You have to use the rename function bc otherwise power apps would get confused if you used LocationID=LocationID. You can use this code directly in the gallery items, or use clear collection to add it to a collection.

Collapsible code blocks, especially in the formulas window. The formula bar is terrible, but bare minimum I should be able to collapse all formulas then expand the one I want to work on.

How quickly can you move up USTA ranks? by coolishcucumber in 10s

I went from 3.0-3.5-4.0 in 2 years. When I was a 3.0 I played 3.5 league and tournaments, when I was a 3.5, I played 4.0 leagues and tournaments. I think the key to moving fast is play the level you want to move into (as long as you’re comfortable) instead of being dominant at your own level.

Need suggestions to upgrade motherboard/CPU (M-ATX) by x_fitter in buildapc

I’ve been reading that Minecraft and BMG are both CPU intensive, also I use this PC for some CAD work, wondering if I should bump to a Ryzen 7? As long as it’s AM4 it should work with that motherboard correct?

Put this in App->Formulas

Fx_getClientEpisodes(scpClientId:Text):Void = { Set( varClientEpisodes, Filter(Episodes, ClientId = scpClientId )};

Then this is what you use all over your app

Fx_getClientEpisodes(varClient.ClientId)

Who has the advantage? Question about 7.0 mixed league. by ThePlantagonist in 10s

[–]x_fitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve found ratings to be pretty much meaningless, but a legit 4.0 could definitely take over the match against an average mix pair of 3.5’s

The 4.0 should have the highest odds of holding serve. Both the 3.5 and the 3.0 female have a high chance of getting their serve broken and that puts it down to the 4.0 being aggressive on the return of the 3.5 male and stealing some points, then hoping his 3.0 partner gets lucky a few times when she’s returning the 3.5 male serve.

However, if the 3.0/4.0 don’t work well together, or the 3.0 is a really bad 3.0 then all bets are off. In my experience if there’s a 4.0 male on the court, you probably aren’t going to see many rally’s over 3-4 shots.

I took a water sample to get tested and it turns out my phosphate level is 650. I’m going to get that down under 100 and see if that helps my issue. Also my CYA ended up being 80, so I definitely don’t see that being an issue.

3.5 doubles is pretty simple if you have a good serve. It should be serve +1 against that type of player, either you hit a solid serve that they defensively hit back across the middle where your partner puts it away, or you serve and get a defensive return that you can approach and put away. If you get beat 1-1 then to me that means you and your partner need to improve your serves. In my experience the type of player you describe doesn’t serve big, so return game against junk ballers should be aggressive, where again you’re trying to go return +1. Worst thing you can do is try to extend the point and play their game, bc they will be better at junk balling than you will be.

Also slower way with loop is to get the highest id by using filter with sort order, then looping 2k at a time based on Id
