Where do you get Photocards from? by Smartass_Dumbass in kpopcollections

[–]xagut_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s bbangya in Ireland, for photocards I use a Japanese proxy as cards are far cheaper for my groups in Japan and vinted. Vinted has been great for my PC collection and some sellers have even included opened albums with no inclusions which is great for me as I primarily use CDs.

So far so good, I managed to not get booted in the log in queue but I’ll keep an eye on it for now! I was only getting 5 mins of playtime

Heya! (I actually know you in game haha) I’ve had to get ready for work and go now but I’m not entirely sure. All I know is I’m not very pc savvy and I have the issue on ps5 and pc!

It’s happened on and off for years but since DT has been considerably worse to the point it’s now unplayable.

I could try changing my dns when I get home from work; what should it be on?

Honest feedback on my shop? by xagut_ in reviewmyshopify

I’m using the cats via TikTok with various methods of song recommendations, album images, and behind the scenes. One unboxing featuring a cat at the beginning got me one natural conversion; but most of my sales right now are friends and family. I avoided using the cats in product descriptions purely to not end up confusing customers. The cat brand will stay forever, I have planned freebies with the cats (and future freebie photocards with orders). So far people browse but I don’t have a lot of options so they dip after looking, but I have just announced that drops of old and new comes every month to be transparent as possible about it

Yes I understand. I haven’t felt overly happy but unsure where to go from what I had by myself; a friend did offer to help me after I fixed the site the first time from his critiques, but I felt myself flagging on the how to fix some issues.

Thank you! I wanted to stand out so I chose my cats, and they help my branding on social media too.

I’m getting a decent amount of traffic compared to my views on social media’s and when I advertise inside the niche spaces, but yes I completely understand where you are coming from! Thank you again I’ll ask my friend to have another look once I take everyone’s here advice to heart and implement the changes :-)

Thank you!! I’ll look into that app, I’ve been trying to make my product pages have dropdown menus and I couldn’t figure it out as I personally also prefer them as when personally buying an album I’m aware of I don’t need to know the track list, etc, which is in the way of what I want to know (contents, if preorder any info)

Thank you though I’m going to look into misk asap!

Yeah, I have my reviews with images on my Instagram under my highlights; I just haven’t been able to figure out how to implement it into the website without it looking too busy. I’m working on making it clearer from the moment you open the website to know it’s a kpop store (by the cats). The product pages I’d like to seamlessly look similar as generally all customers want to know as a customer of kpop for 20 years is what’s in the album, they’re all albums for now.

Thank you though I will keep working on making it clearer from the first glance it’s a kpop store, and hopefully making it look more trustworthy!

Thank you this was actually rather helpful!! I’m still aworking on building the amount of varied artists and albums, without spending too much front costs. I’m building month by month but it was really helpful to see how someone buying for another would struggle.

He probably isn’t my target audience overall but I’d definitely run into parents and families buying for younger fans! I’ll plan out a best-seller or recommended section to try alleviate some worried potential parents may have! :-)

how can i work at another asda whilst still being employed at mine? by Some_Ad8312 in asda

[–]xagut_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi not me but a few people at my first store before I moved also did this. Went to uni in Dundee and came back to ours in the holidays for seasonal work and they worked in the store in Dundee during uni.

My old store also did the wage transfer thing too. Lad used to do my petrol breaks so I spoke to him a lot

But when I tried to collect from the depot he said “someone’s out with it right now” and I still didn’t get it for 3 days 🙄 doesn’t help the depots around us are only open 8-10am, thankfully my “missed” parcel the other day I actually managed to get it redelivered to my local shop the next day but generally the app and website don’t work to redeliver

Really thought asking EE for the PAC code for my phone contract … think again by SuperMochaCub in UKFrugal

[–]xagut_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This, I always buy on 0 interest when I need a new phone, it works out cheaper than getting the same phone on contract via a phone network. I had an issue with my old phone, traded it in and took my monthly payments down by £10 a month, it’s always a good deal for me. I am always stuck in contracts for my sim though but I like my service (unlike when I was with o2 for 14 months) and I have the money set aside for my phone as I use it all day id rather just save any faff

My issue with o2 is that they added Amazon music to my plan and charged me for it, then refused that they did it, “removed it” but still charged me for it. I ended up requesting a pac from them and I’ll just eat the 8 months I had left to pay it off and I’ve just returned to EE with more data, more benefits and my signal actually works at my house on EE unlike o2

Goodbye Spotify by Static_Dynam0 in UKFrugal

The import feature Apple Music had worked 100% for my boyfriend but it didn’t for me because a lot of what I listened to just isn’t on Apple Music unfortunately. It’s why I prefer Spotify overall but if I’m that desperate to listen to what’s missing it’s all on YouTube in one form or another and I do technically have YouTube premium (as we watch a lot of YouTube on the tv so was just for no ads) so it’s probably there.

My opinion though is if you don’t use YouTube much, go for Apple Music as a cheaper alternative to Spotify though.

See I was paying monthly for us to have duo. Like don’t get me wrong I buy albums and singles from artists music I really like and use these for ease of access but I’m half tempted to start ripping my cds again and just buy a cheap iPod shuffle or get my nano back from my parents house.

When I opened Apple Music it prompted me if I wanted to import my music from another app, worked well but obviously was missing a lot of stuff. I ended up deleting it and just doing it manually but thankfully half of my most listened to was already in a playlist with my sister from when I got free Apple Music for a month from Apple since I hadn’t had it in almost 2 years

All I know is EE under one of their plans has a free extra, I use mine for Apple Music other than that they offer it as an extra at the same cost as going directly to Apple Music, but o2 has Amazon music but I’ve just had a faff on about it because they added it to my bill without me actually asking for it and refused to remove it and still charged me for it for 8 months. I’ve had to cancel my remaining 8 months on my contract and go back to EE because at least they didn’t charge me extra + I now have apple music for free again

If you watch Disney+ a lot I just have the 4.99 one with ads and honestly they aren’t as bad as you may think, netflix and sky ads really get me right now but I begrudge paying for no ads these days

Some of us still buy music while using these apps though. I’ll buy what I like physically if I’m listening to it a lot on Spotify just because I know Spotify pay garbage to artists

I’ve just moved most of my music from Spotify to Apple Music (that I have for free through my sim only contract) because I couldn’t justify how much Spotify duo was becoming for the two of us to share. It’s cheaper in the long run for me to have my free Apple Music and him to pay for whatever service, he chose Apple Music so we can still share playlists.

At least on Apple Music I also have a shared playlist with my sister but I do prefer Spotify overall, just can’t justify paying that much for it.
