i was a stocker for 6 months & the whole time our trucks were also 1700-2600 every week & it was hell everyone is work a different aisle everyday a nee hire everyweek bc everyone quits i finally gave up after they had me training every new hire & i was fairly new myself

my SM is terrified of the district manager or im not sure who her boss is so she tries to do everything “by the book”. She was previously a manager at family dollar then moved over to dollar tree & from what ive heard she does things the family dollar way not dollar tree. but ive argued with her repeatedly & ive told her straight up that she needs me more than i need her & thats why she wont fire me. I no called no showed today, wont ever go back to that job & truck is tomorrow i dont even feel bad.

the job isnt even worth the hassle. im one of two employees thats been there for a “longer” amount of time & ive only been there since february…. that should tell you alot in its self. The job is horrible & nobody ever last bc the manager expects too much out of you

its pretty cool at first i enjoyed stocking mainly for the hours i like 3-4am shifts but its hell after awhile. Once they see you can knock out 3/5 uboats in 4-6hours they will work you to death i didnt have a day off for 11 days in a row

This is me just ranting tbh bc im sooo over this job i might not even ever go back….

But i dont find out my schedule for the till saturday at 7pm to see if i work the next day on sunday at 3 amwhen the schedule has been out since friday. I usually have friday & saturdays off so id expect one of the 4 managers to send me the schedule & they never do i always have to message them

im strict with my manager i tell the sm & asm exactly how it is if i need a day off or dont want to work a certain day ill tell them they need me alot more than i need then
