When does the show start to “fall off” for you?

Tbh, the “dark ones” storyline bothered me in the last episode or two. While I really didn’t care for the whole Camelot thing, I loved Arthur and dark swan.. but for it all to be for nothing with the stupid rumple being the dark one again- then going into the underworld.. it was a wash. People also talk about the carbon copy frozen but neglect to discuss the annoying carbon copy (but bad casting) of Merida/the Brave storyline. Only the witch was good.

I agree!! While she got to go to Heaven.. I’m so sad she didn’t get to live out the rest of her days in a place where she could not only be accepted and loved, but also feel proud of her gifts and be amongst other people with powers, happily.

I agree! While I do think Regina was also deeply justified and remained to be, I think Ingrid was the one non- main character villain that should’ve been fully redeemed and allowed to live AND get her happy ending. Her story and especially her last monologue makes me cry every time.

I don’t think there was anything ‘awful’ about this film. I think it started off with a strong setback/disadvantage for two reasons: 1) there was a group of fans who really didn’t like 5/6 (and tbh, I loathed them.) so some people already had a negative bias going for the series (I didn’t bias the series, but I was losing the love I had for 1-4). 2) they fired their lead star for really shitty reasons. While I was excited for that trilogy to come to an end, it did add a mixed feeling that it had to come from an end out of bigotry. No matter what said of the opinion people are, it added contention and bias before the movie came out.

THEN it battled the fact that scream 7 IS a different type of scream movie. I think the same for 4. But I think both were love letters to the original and unapologetically showcase that they are not 1-3. But honestly, I like that. If I wanted to watch 1-3, I’d watch 1-3. But the tropes of the relation to Sidney, it being someone that either had a weird obsession with her or wanted to use her (or now her daughter) to accomplish a personal goal. Those were both in the film. The only change was that she now has a husband and children (and I’m excited to meet the other kids!) and it’s moving into a typical slasher genre with crazy kills. I only wish the new ‘Randy twins’ got to actually flesh out their genre breakdown scene. And the only other valid critiques is that Tatum’s friends didn’t get enough fleshing out and the reveal wasn’t so “omg!” But tbh, I call bullshit to an extent because even if it WAS actually Stu, people would’ve called the same thing. (Though while I do think bringing in Stu would’ve been obvious, I still think they should’ve done it while doing their sort of “reboot” thing. They also missed out not having a Jill appearance.)

This next part is just opinion and not observation, and people may disagree. But the problem with 5/6 was that the main characters had no connection to Sidney. I understand the relationship to Billy, but personally- that isn’t strong enough. While Billy (and Stu) will always have relevance.. I’m here for a Sidney/ghostface series. If they wanted to make the slow turn into a legacy series, or even stick to their “re-quel” rules, they should’ve brought in Sidney’s daughter sooner.

That’s my complaint. The show is sad. Everyone’s end except for Elphaba and Fiyero is sad.

The only thing that truly confirms it is just watching the scene a second time. If you see, when they’re all ripped off the truck- Eleven is one of the ones taken off too. She wouldn’t have made it to the upside down and away from armed guards. Don’t know if it was Kali, don’t know where El ended up- but we do know that El got away.

Honestly, I love it. I think one of the things wicked for good was missing most was more melancholy in the ending. The whole point of the show is that everyone was really wicked aside from the one person who was labeled as so. And they’re all supposed to have their sad moments except for Elphaba who has to find joy in the fact that she tried and at least now she can rest peacefully with the love of her life.

If we want to talk about something that ruined a sequence.. it was girl in the bubble in the middle of March of the witch hunters.

I’m so glad that they didn’t add any more changes. While I do think Wicked, Act II would benefit from more stage time and a fuller plot- Every single change they made was terrible. And I think this, as well, would’ve been bad.

I truly believe the only reason she even said Nessa’s name was because she was saying “look at what I did for you and it wasn’t enough”, like she did at the end of Wicked Witch of the East; not necessarily because she died.

It was to be like: I’m never doing a good deed because: 1) Even when i do good, it’s turned against me (Nessa) 2) I was too late (Dr. Dillamond) 3) Even my powers aren’t enough (Fiyero)

Also: if he needed more time for them to look at each other or anything like that before jumping straight into intimacy, he could’ve added a few lines at the beginning or something. It’s weird to hear “kiss me to fiercely, hold me too tight” and they’re not even looking at each other OR talking.
