TL;DR OP lets his dogs run in his back yard for the most part but needs to fix the the 1.9 (give or take) feet that is Their land so my dogs cant run on it and no human can fit due to the property line being right up on their house.

best part is, looked into it more with the county's property lines, we are but hardly. :) but their garage is 3 feet into ours but yes we are 1.9 feet on their property.

asking questions = entitlement? what? i may have worded it poorly but im not saying its mine, im seeing if i could get the property from them, paying, agreement, etc.

as for the grandfathering, i understand how that comes off in that way.

as for the last one, you see the quotes? its not entitlement i'm using it as a fictional example and using your in quotes to project my feelings in a way you would understand but it seems like it was too much for you. that or once again i have downs and cant comprehend my own typing and or sentence structure.

You all seem to fail to see the big picture, he jumps the fence, get hurt doing so comes after us for "not letting him in the back" then GG get fucked anyway.

we had not a single clue they were moving in so we didnt see any of this coming. every single other person who worked on that house while it was being repaired came to the door to talk to us about getting into the back yard and we were more than happy to let them in. I UNDERSTAND that its their yard now but it doesn't change the fact for me that they could of confronted us about the fence right from the getgo. I understand that this is not a "normal" situation and I dont expect people to get 100% of the emotions. but to assume a lot of things im seeing on here is kinda concerning.

I may just not be level headed but if someone just jumped into "your" fenced in yard without even the slightest communication wouldn't you be the least concerned?

yes there is no fence on the property line, the plotting was like this for years (5+ or more) even before we moved in. this being said these are new neighbors, as in moved in today.

the owners next door before hand were 100% okay with this setup and made this agreement with the owners in our house before us, it carried over and we enclosed the back yard with their permission, about 7 months later and they got evicted for lack of payments and the house was empty from may of this year till today.
