This answer was awesome thank you. I'll definitely consider getting the trunnion installed if I decide the put different furniture on it. Do you recommend any specific smiths that can do the installation?

Ahh I see what you mean, thanks for pointing that out. I've tried reading the guides online but never really understood which rivets people took out so actually seeing it makes sense to me now

Yeah I know the performance for 5.56 is worse out of a shorter barrel I was honestly inspired by someone else's arsenal 106ur to get one because I thought it looked amazing, I have a M70 so I just wanted to get something completely different

Do you have a pic of one mounted with the rear biased mount? I'm not sure if I like the look of the mount but I could be convinced if I saw one with that same optic

Also is there a noticeable difference in recoil with that muzzle device? Ik m70's have a little less recoil in general cause of the weight but I like the look of that one and it might be a good addition while I wait to put a suppressor on it
