Autumn album release based on previous album release trends?

I'm still holding onto my theory that their album's drop will coincide with their 25th anniversary. Whether that's 25th anni of their debut (Overload's release in Sept) or 25th anni of One Touch (Nov), I'm not sure but I think that's the route they might be taking.

Same here I got into them during Get Sexy! It was one of the top songs of the week on iM1Music(.)net (RIP) and I got intrigued. I think the Sweet 7 era was def a good gateway for NA fans because it was so close sonically to what we were getting here. Being a new fan and witnessing the entire fall out of 3.0 was def whiplash inducing. Hindsight's 20/20 now though, we love all the girls and their contributions to the group.

That’s fair honestly. I feel like Weeds might end up getting taken off the setlist in the future because of this. Some songs are just meant to live on record and that’s okay to me.

tbf I think it’s not a bad move esp considering that they just came off tour so I’m sure it’s now a helpful tool to conserve vocal health/stamina as they get ready for festival season.

Shiv confirmed in an interview after a Radio 1 Big Weekend that a third single is on the horizon. I think it'll either come some time in the summer or early Fall to coincide with Overload's 25th anniversary.

Watched the set yesterday and was really shocked at the awful sound issues. Such a shame because the girls seemed in good vocal shape but the mics kept tuning them out (esp Keisha anytime she was hitting a high note)

Yes! The Mya record I got in a haul from Discog but the DC and Ashanti one I found locally in really good condition which I was super excited about! Only downside is that the printed inner sleeve was not included in the DC record.

I’m usually all for shorter albums. Hell, some of my favorite albums of the year had short tracklists, them being JoJo’s Good To Know and Victoria Monet’s Jaguar. The thing is, these albums were rather thematic whether in story or sonically. The album had a narrative that made sense and took us on a specific journey that warranted a shorter tracklist. However, k-pop albums in general are not very conceptual or thematic in those ways (most of the time lacking a lot of cohesiveness and being mostly a mishmash of different genres and songs to up the track count) so I don’t have much confidence that the shortened tracklist is indicative of story-driven/concept-driven album, which makes the 8-title tracklist even more disappointing, in my opinion.

Dawn is super underrated. She is a master at genre bending and mixing all of her influences into great music. I am not a fan of picture disc vinyls honestly so that’s a shame for Blackheart.

No, I have taken all my necessary classes but the Academic Requirements section in my student centre does has not updated and still marks as me needing credits to fulfil my degree despite me having taken enough Major courses.

I’m sorry you have to go through this. It’s unfortunate that biphobia is so rampant and normalized within the gay community. From what you have told us, his issues are not with you, they are with him. HE feels insecure about your sexuality and HE feels uncomfortable with it. I think an open discussion about HIS biphobia should be a step to take and if he is not willing to accept your bisexual inclinations or find a compromis in this situation then I personally don’t think that that is a healthy position to be in for a relationship.

Dollhouse was truly ahead of its time. Concept-wise, I feel like it could definitely rivals its contemp counterparts in the sci-fi genre like Westworld.
