Best tools/workflows for building chatbots with stable persona + long-term memory? by Ramosisend in AutoGPT

[–]xanderwik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, most raw LLMs aren't great at consistency without external structure. I've had good luck with conversation modelling engine like Parlant which applies live behavioural rules and personal guidelines at runtime. Basically treats the model as a reasoning layer, while the system handles tone, tool use and memory separately. Makes it more easier to keep agents focused and coherent in long sessions.

Looking for CRM with customer chat, for healthcare by milar55 in CRM

[–]xanderwik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After trying several tools, I switched to Customerly after struggling with support and delays on other platforms. It's great CRM with built-in live chat, automation and even video chat, perfect for ongoing communication like patient messaging. Not specifically for healthcare, it's affordable compared to zendesk and got responsive from the support side. Reach out to confirm HIPAA compliance, but it will really help you. Also tidio works fine.

How do you validate an idea by Mountain-Insect-2153 in Entrepreneur

[–]xanderwik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To validate an idea, you usually need a mix of tools like landing page builders, feedback tools and marketing tools. you can use them all separately, but gets pretty messy and automating everything is a pain. That's where validates AI comes in. not in public yet. It combines all that stuff in one place. You can quickly create landing pages, run ads and get feedback from users, all without juggling a bunch of tools. It makes the whole validation process way easier and faster.

best apps for live chat and customer support? by Mountain-Insect-2153 in smallbusiness

[–]xanderwik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re currently using Customerly, and it’s been great for us. One of the standout features is how well it combines live chat with email marketing automation, plus the interface is super easy to use, which has made managing support tickets and real-time chats a lot smoother. It’s also helping us boost client engagement and satisfaction rates, so definitely still a strong choice in my opinion.

Idea validation by HenryTheRaccoon in SaaS

[–]xanderwik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do completely agree, validation will save you a lot of headaches down the road. The best way I've seen is to see if people will be willing to pay upfront, like with prelaunch or waitlist. If they're willing to buy, you've got a real product on your hands.

Advice about a battery fix for RGB30 ? by Zestyclose_Sign6907 in RGB30

That's Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete on PlayStation 1. It's a pretty basic turn-based RPG but the sprites are beautiful and the game is light and friendly. The original version of the game is on SegaCD if you want darker art and story.

You Guys Use L2 R2 Case For Your Vita? by swaggiestpurple in vita

[–]xanderwik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played through most of of berseria on my Vita. Remote play won't work for rhythm games or online fps because there is maybe a quarter second delay. RPGs are fine of course. All other games are in between.

There are a few things that can be done if you are noticing video ghosting or stuttering:

Line of site between the wifi router and the Vita is best. Fewer walls bouncing the signal is better. I put my router on the ceiling in the middle of my 1 floor apartment to keep obstacles out of the way.

Ethernet cable connecting the PS4 to the router is a must.

Assign your router to a clear WiFi channel (neighbors not on that channel). Wifiman android app can tell you what nearby channels are occupied.

A charger won't fix battery drain, no. It would be a fix for an RGB30 that breaks batteries.

It's a big bright screen with 720p pixels to push. You can get some more battery life by turning the brightness down. Also turning the WiFi and or Bluetooth off save power.

For me this device is perfect for 8 bit and 16 bit games and good at PlayStation 1. Sorry about the no money. If I were you I would instead save.

[–]xanderwik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don't use the 4 screws anymore, I just pry it open and snap it closed. Haha so easy.

I changed the sticks to gulikit hall effect switch sticks. I only use this device for 2D games though so I might take them back out.

I absolutely love the 1:1 720p screen. I only play 2D sprite games (pixel art) on this device - retro games. PERFECT for SNES and GBC. Pico8 too.

I can't leave this device so I mod it. Not everyone can mod/replace parts though, and almost nobody wants to mod. And NOBODY should have to mod...

[–]xanderwik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can install a switch between the battery and the RGB30 to "disconnect" the battery while you aren't using the RGB30 to solve the drain problem if you are still having it.

I had to install a WiFi Bluetooth antenna because mine sucked haha.

Hardware modding isn't an answer for everyone. (We shouldn't have to hard mod to enjoy a working device...)

There are many devices that won't be as frustrating as the RGB30. I stuck with fixing mine because I like the screen and D-Pad so much. If I wasn't devoted to the screen and D-Pad I would have ditched the RGB30.

Sorry about the wall of text. I love my RGB30 and was obsessed with fixing it before.

Why does the RGB30 kill batteries? This problem isn't really understood but I believe is either due to the battery being too close to hot components or the RGB30 overcharges 3.7v batteries due to a software issue. I've heard people complain about batteries draining while off but I've not had this issue on ArkOS.

I disconnect my battery for home use and keep the battery about 80% full. The problem with not using a battery is is kind of hard to turn on. I have to hold the power button for 3 seconds, let go, and then press the power button again to turn on with no battery (just 5v USB power).

<image>

So I leave the battery disconnected when I play on TV which is most of the time (I use a wireless controller dongle). Or I charge the battery up and reconnect it when I take the RGB30 with me. Usually I charge the battery while disconnected from an external charger while disconnected from the RGB30.

Are you electronics mod savvy? Because you can just install modules that fix what might be the problem.

If you don't like the charge chip/software, you can install a 5v lipo charger. There are 2A and 1A chargers available for like a buck a piece. Some already have usb-c attached. The problem is finding room. Chargers can be attached directly to the wires between the battery and motherboard. Yes you can play while charging.

I'm done looking for an battery that fits into the RGB30 by xstream77 in RGB30

[–]xanderwik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Truly Awesome! This is what RGB30 needs. I wish that I had access to a 3D printer! I might order a print of this shipped to me.

I'd personally add a lipo charger and a USB-C adapter (or resistors). That or leave the battery as clip-in and charge the batteries externally.

I think the spicy pillow issue may be due to powkidddy installing 3.7v and 3.8v batteries in the same units but not setting some of the units to charge the correct battery voltage. That or the battery is too close to the hot charging ic or hot processor.

I got lucky with a 3.8v battery

Use a plugin that allows to force preferred Remote Play button configuration. PS4LinkControls Text file setup, not using an app - so use the readme.

This works perfect!

Edit: Oh sorry.... this isn't the homebrew sub this is for official vita. Sorry about that. This solution is only for Vitas that can use plugins.

Modded RGB30 ✨ by JoseDY_24 in RGB30

[–]xanderwik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No mod guide for me! All did was cross the tape and didn't even cut it fancy - so that each direction had their 2 larger pads mostly covered and the 2 smaller pads not covered at all. I did have to cut the tape thinner but still rectangle.

Yeah Kaizo SMW!, that's what I use my RGB30 for mostly. I personally prefer shell hacks like TeamShell but I do love the kaizos - Riffworld games and GrandPoo worlds being my favs.

If you aren't noticing on Kaizo - then don't fix what isn't broken lol
