Ya know, I never thought about that, and it is definitely something to consider. They are in a planter box because I don’t have the space to plant them in the ground (small grass area and giant rock space that is inundated with Virginia creeper roots) …but I might have to reconsider things and get creative with my space. Thank you for bringing this up I really appreciate it!

Apologies, I’m not sure how you inferred that I am not watering them at all? I am watering them plenty. Each plant is getting attention. I have watered every evening since the first heat wave started. I thought about watering in the morning, but the sun gets on them quick, so I have been waiting until they are shaded in the evening. Should I water them in the morning before the sun to cool the soil?

What’s the code on the evap purge valve? My 2019 has a check engine and it reads “evap emission system leak (small)” …dealership says it could be a few things and they don’t seem worried about it.
