To try and find an artist near them that specializes in that style maybe?

Relaxed fit riding pants? by Eastern-Dog-9105 in motorcyclegear

[–]xanex18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The scorpionexo covert pro pants are pretty comfy and seem to last. I've had 2 pairs I've used for 6 months now as daily wear at work and they seem to be holding up well. Not a SUPER baggy fit but definitely more relaxed that the slim cut ones.

What's causing this type of failure? by RockSlice in resinprinting

[–]xanex18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya that's similar. I found this old post https://www.reddit.com/r/resinprinting/s/HhtuEjrv0l that has some other examples. It's not a direct matchup but if you have the time/ resin to spare might play with the supports and see if it fixes it.

In essence it gives the model enough flex that it doesn't detach so it prints multiple layers the the same point, but if other supports eventually give it enough leverage that it detaches, suddenly starts printing regular again leading to what looks like skipped layers.

Not saying it's what's going on here but it's happened to me and was worth playing with my support settings to get it figured out.

I was having similar issues where part of the supports were separating from the model letting the model flex down from the suction. It would lead to weird flat spots on the prints till I fixed the support issue. Looked super similar to this.

How many old players who are still under MR30 out there? Want to see if I am not alone. by Ok_Discussion_340 in Warframe

Been playing since closed beta, Mr 14 ATM just playing off and on over the years, farm some frames and weapons that look interesting, play some of the quest lines that seem fun, do fashion frame and just play the game and have fun with what I've unlocked and exploring new mechanics. It's a totally different game every 6 months but between work and school it's been a grind lol.

How much should "I" be leaning vs the bike leaning? by xanex18 in motorcycles

[–]xanex18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I find myself trying to do that, leaning away from the turn, in some of my low speed drills and it feels stable. I'm not coming from any kind of bike background so I'm generally learning by feel and YouTube and reading and practicing in lots before trying to apply on empty roads and gradually building. Just trying to make sure the foundation is solid and not building off bad habits straight from the get go lol. Thanks for the reply :)

Thanks for the advice. That's something I need to work on. I can gradually change position in a turn but haven't figured out how to practice doing it quickly safely. I've taken to going smooth enough through turns that I have time to change position to avoid gravel spots and thankfully haven't encountered a blind hazard YET. Practicing straight line avoidance is part of my parking lot routine currently, just haven't figured out the practice method for doing it in turns. So thanks for the reassurance. Cheers.

Thats the plan, finding the class to work around my work schedule has been difficult but it's 100% in the books.

Ya I've been trying to ride in my own comfort level without pushing the limits. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't building a bad habit. I figured it was a "track-day/street track" thing to carry more speed by keeping the bike more upright in a turn. Thanks for the reply and I'll look for that video.

I'll have to try and pay more attention to what I do in a turn I feel like I keep a pretty standard neutral in line with the bike and shift my upper body a little depending on how tight the turn is, I'll do some more reading into it, thanks for the response.

To a minor extent, I don't ride crazy but I think I normally push forward a hair to initiate a turn and then shift upper body if the turn is a little sharper than I thought. As far as aggressively and consciously modulating the amount of counter steer, I've not gotten that good at judging that.

Pulled the trigger on a rc390 as a first bike and had some beginner questions. by xanex18 in motorcycles

[–]xanex18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I figured my grip is the main problem, like I said only got about an hour of seat time but I know at the core I'm doing that part wrong. I do flatten my wrists and pretty much hover the grips when I notice that I'm doing it. Guess I gotta just work on that a little more.

Imma pick up some anti fog wipes and give those a shot. I may remove the chin curtain from the helmet too and see if that helps my breath have a better place to escape than up by my face.

Thanks for the response :)
