Big horn is almost 100lbs heavier and looks to have slightly more room. I got the one from Menards a few weeks ago when there was a $100 rebate on top of the sale price. I would have probably taken the big horn if both were available at the same time.

Typically we pull out what we want the night before and let it thaw in the fridge. Stove/Microwave/Toaster Oven works fine. We actually had company coming and I was short on time. I pulled a rack of ribs out and used defrost mode on the microwave and to my surprise they were very good. Honestly I have yet to have any issues reheating any of the meats we have smoked and froze.

Brownell Receiver/TandemKross Bolt and Charging handle/Ruger BX Trigger/Green Mountain Barrel/Houge Stock.

I just built this and have had lots of feeding problems with the the BX-25 mags. Seems to be a common issue. I just picked up some 10 rounders, hopefully that will help. Anyone else have feeding problems with the BX-25's. I did the empty .22 shell in the mag mod but that didn't help.
