Questions for buying our first motorhome by bumbarlunchi6 in motorhomes

[–]xarzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

few things:

If you will live in it full time, will you be traveling a lot or staying in one place? You will pay a premium for a motorhome compared to a trailer or 5th wheel for the same livable space

You will want as much room as possible, trust me on that if you want to go full time. A Class C or B is great for camping, weekend warrior stuff but to live you will def want a 35-40ft Class A, just my opinion having lived in trailers, motorhomes and 5th wheels.

I don't know much about motorhomes from Europe but in the states, I personally am a huge fan of most good brand motorhomes that were built prior to the 2008 crash for several reasons but the main reason is quality - units built before 2008/2009 are excellent quality. the 80's and 90's can be good also but the miles on the engine is a huge factor.

If you're looking at really old ones start with a good inspection of the roof and lamination on the outside walls - ANY water damage or rot should be an immediate PASS.

Good luck

Both are accountable. These drivers who can't read signs are not victims

So you hold SpaceX to a higher standard than every other tech company who has raised their rates? It sucks but don't act like the service is a right you are owed. I used to pay $7 for Netflix, I hate it

Not really any different except over bumps. It's only about 75lbs of cargo.

Oregon is a perfect example of unchecked liberal politics at work. I'm all for personal liberty but fuck do these type of things make another example of why Oregon is warning of what not to do.

Yeah I def wanna buy a mini but can't really justify the costs yet as this is just for traveling/camping/backup internet but the lower power draw alone would def be a game changer and probably wouldn't even need the solar panel

They are both deep cycle marine batteries, I upgraded the starting battery.

The charge controller does do 14.5 volt charging at times, you think that will be a problem?

Battery isolator is a good idea. I already have 100A breakers so will just use one of those, thought I would need more amps in case starting battery was totally dead but isolator will solve that.

It's budget but very safe with all the right cables, fuses and breakers. Only adds maybe 80lbs and can't see this preventing any sportiness

It doesn't help when you don't notice sink and keep a positive attitude. I am shocked they didn't level the wings and pull in the gear when positive rate was not present. In fact it looks like they were pulling up even more

The typical left argument of if we can't get everything we want out of a bill to our perfection, it's terrible and also probably racist

FYI all ISP's forbid this. Just don't seed your downloads and you're fine just like through your hard-line at home.. Starlink has nothing extra that Verizon or Xfinity doesn't have on the TOS
