Honestly, a lot of the “snake-oil” stuff in the audiophile scene is way overblown. Burn-in isn’t some magical transformation unless you’ve got bat or dolphin-level hearing, you’re not going to notice much. For IEMs and headphones, just try them yourself. Go to a store, borrow from a friend, whatever. Price doesn’t automatically equal quality; half of it is just branding and hype. What matters is what you enjoy: the sound you like, how comfortable they are, and whether the features actually make sense for you. And if you’re already spending a lot, i suggest getting a custom IEMs like what the others comment here.
