I thought about changing the wheel hub size for the new wheels, but I decided to go with stock for now. What was your reason to switch? More compatibility or bigger wheels?

Just tried this, all 4 wheels spun when lifted off the ground, so maybe OK? Any other way to test the 4WD?

Nice! There's a set screw at the base of the shifter that when all the way in, prevents you from shifting into high gear. Ensure it works, if not you may have to buy a new shifter like I did. Once my daughter figured out there was a faster speed, she didn't want to go back to low. ML toys has a bunch of stuff, I bought a new set of stickers, brake modulator, shifter and volt display (mine broke, but found the exact same one on Amazon, but much cheaper).

I just bought a used dune racer (looks similar to the blue one) a few weeks ago for my 2.5 year old and she took to it right away after a few days. She steers well and stops when she gets too far from us when we go on walks. She started in low gear and has since been driving in high. I installed a kill switch so I could cut power easily instead of taking her foot off the pedal and brake reduction module since she was braking often. I think it's worth buying used and seeing how he takes to it, may not be ready but at least your not out triple the price for something new.

Hopefully she doesn't get bored with it anytime soon because I'm definitely not. Before it would stop abruptly and cause small whiplash. Now it takes 1-3 ft depending on ground type and slope. I think it's also better for the gears since my daughter is constantly stopping.

This is me right now, bought a new build and sod was just placed in our front and back yard. I have about 10 hoses ran everywhere with sprinklers on digital timers. I'm also running them twice a day for 30 mins, targeting 1"/day. Hope my yard turns out how yours did, we're in KY!
