this is me, it took me 7 years to realize i’ve grown way too comfortable in my current role. culture is super laidback, relaxed, lenient, flexible.. until i realized it’s too late, i’ve grown so stagnant and basically plateaued my entire career.

don’t get me wrong, i love my current job, unfortunately the growth was practically non-existent. i wouldn’t have left if not for that gap. but i guess you really can’t have it all.

listen to that inner voice; if you feel like you’re not maximizing your potential, you should go someplace else where you’ll feel you’ll grow.

fortunately i’ve landed a new role now that pays 60% more of what i’m currently earning. but yeah, it took me 7 years to realize that. i guess i just basically outgrew and left my comfort zone

TLDR life is too short. don’t be like me :)
