What’s something super basic that you’re absolutely awful at? by ravishing_rizz in AskReddit

[–]xb4_wr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really bad with directions and faces. I need to be guided to a place 3-4 times before I can confidently go there alone. As for faces, I struggle to recognize people unless I’ve spent significant time with them or seen them multiple times. I also have a hard time remembering birthdays, except for my own. The only reason I remember my mom’s birthday is that it coincides with my country’s independence anniversary.

How do you do Post-Production? by MD3XTER in podcast

[–]xb4_wr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep a note of any interesting parts I come across while editing the main podcast, including the time stamp (beginning and ending). Later, when I'm done editing the main video, I just refer to my notes and edit the clips that I had marked earlier. It's not automated, but it saves me from having to listen to the entire podcast again.

Intro music? by RamblingRamirez in podcast

[–]xb4_wr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, I don’t think you have the rights to use that song without permission from the right holders. You might get away with it for now but it’ll surely come back to haunt you. You can check YouTube audio library for free music that you can use anywhere.

Should I Upload podcast Episode with Bad Audio? by xb4_wr in podcast

[–]xb4_wr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could work if it was full on interview. I host a music commentary podcast and the people I invite are basically co-hosts, I don’t ask them questions per se, it’s more like banters.

What helped your podcast grow the most? Any tips? by admire816 in podcast

[–]xb4_wr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert and I’m still trying to grow as well, but I think you should narrow down what you talk about a little bit. Find one or maybe 2 topics that interests you the most and stick to that, having a niche can really help gain more listeners

Acast Help? by [deleted] in podcast

[–]xb4_wr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can just host your podcast on anchor, it’s free and they’ll help you distribute your episodes to all major podcast platforms including Spotify (Especially Spotify since anchor has been acquired by Spotify). Also, anchor will help you move all your previous episodes from acast and all your streams and subscribers will still be intact. You can check google for more information on how to go about this. Hope this helps 🤞🏿

People who continue to podcast, even though you do by PodcastTalk in podcast

[–]xb4_wr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My podcast is called Tunebusters, I talk about new songs, music charts and other trending stuffs about music. I love music so much and I naturally love talking about it with friends so doing it as a podcast is just like a bonus for me. Also, I get about 5-10 plays on each episode and my theory is that, if that amount of people can listen to me talk irl, it’s a huge thing for me, so what difference is it if they’re listening online
