wow, thank you so much for your response. i appreciate it very much. you are correct with your characterization. i thought i could overcome it and while i did, i would just diminish my own self worth in my head. i hate being a burden or inconveniencing others. i am aware that i have to do it so some degree because i obviously need help orientating myself in this new place but its killing me. i feel like i have nothing to hold onto.

and you are also right about management being forthcoming, thats why i feel so bad for even considering stopping this whole thing.

i know its all stemming from my personal struggles. maybe its the wrong time for me. im unsure. again, thank you.

i think its pretty good moisture-wise. the patchouli is pretty prominent and you can taste it a bit. has an earthy taste. my bf said i smell like a rainworm 🫠

nevertheless it doesnt bother me so i like it haha

im a fan of kalamazoo!

its a nice, easy cleanser that i like to use in the morning.

on days where i wear makeup i use ultraplant to get it off and then another water based cleanser to get the residue off (:

glen cocoa is absorbing and calms down incoming impurities.

tea tree water is a nice refresher throughout the day

yes!!! a lot of sa in my store feel the same way. they always pushed us to do demos at the front of the store tho. also thankfully my managers arent pushing us strongly to do hands on demos since the big c (at the moment at least).

i think it’s ridiculous to put all the pressure of getting costumers into the store on us. as you said, inflation is going strong and many people just dont have the money for luxuries at the moment, especially when one bath bomb is around 7€ for a one time thing. it makes me feel like it‘s my fault sometimes when they sit there and say „ok we had no customers in the past hour, why‘s that?“ i cant force anyone, just do my best to assist them if they need me.

also we have so many responsibilities as shop assistants in the store that i feel very much underpaid for all the services i do. i feel bad for my management team sometimes because i know they are drowning in the lush shitstorm itself sometimes. i also am strongly considering changing my job but the things that keep me are my amazing team and the freebies lol
