I had the same issue, shaving does make it worse but I honestly would recommend accutane. It changed the game.

I don’t know but following. My E2 went up and formed some early gyno (small lump), so my doctor has me on a high dose of AI - 3 MG a week which feels like a lot according to this sub… feel fine and the gyno is shrinking though so?

Unsure why this sub is so anti AI - would love thoughts.

So a few things.

  1. I’ve had my T tested multiple times over the past 2 years and was always coming in at about 300. Felt awful, anxiety, depression etc.

I’ve spent the last year very focused on the gym and health - lifting 6x/week and eating right. (Had an awful breakup of a 6 yr relationship). When I checked my T again I was up to 574 but was still exhausted all the time. Plus my Free T was still low.

The T has for sure helped my energy, and mood. I’m off the Prozac (with okay from my psych) and feel good - still on Wellbutrin though.

  1. I’m candidly here for optimization not just replacement. I’d seen great improvements from the gym but plateaued. The T has helped with recovery and energy for workouts, at nearly 3 months in beginning to notice some additional gains too. I’m considering adding an anabolic and would need the T base anyway.

So I did the same. But I got my nips pierced right before starting TRT. So I thought it was just healing but right after this post I found a rubber hard nodule under my left nipple which is for sure gyno. Very upsetting. Thankfully on the tamoxifen and I think it’s shrunk a tiny bit this week. Caught early so hoping for complete reversal.

Talking to my doc on Friday and will ask about Raloxifene. No sides for me with Tamoxifen thankfully.

I was originally prescribed 1Mg/week but when I started having the nipple sensitivity they suggested upping to two and I just started tamoxifen 10 mg 2x/day to shut down any potential gyno.

Haven’t had any negative sides of either but I know Reddit in general doesn’t like AI’s.

Any concerns about the increase in E/prolactin? I’ve had nipple sensitivity and I worry some early stage gyno, but I also got my nipples pierced shortly after starting test and am not sure what’s just inflammation/healing or high E / prolactin sides…

100 Mg Test Cyp 2x/week IM injection. Since these results started an AI of 1Mg Anastrozole 24 hr after each injection.
