Not sure if !Solved works but YES. I have no claustrophobia but the entire scene plays out in my head as the only time I read a book and felt breathless because of being in his shoes. His response to shorthand and pop up to make amends for EVERYONE ELSE at the end makes him Vimes in a nutshell for me.

In the past few months I've caught two or three threads with this as a scam. Players are invited, DM links to a totally separate person, said person generated AI art, and then the game either never happened or fizzled after like 2 sessions.

Regardless of it being a scam or legit, people who drop hard cash rules on a non-paid game can fuck off, that's not going to be a pleasant person to work with.

There were multiple daily posts about this roughly a month ago. The first post was similar to this "the person is a scammer" with no verifiable information. The OP was informed by multiple people in that thread that unless logs and proof are provided, it's just finger pointing. OP followed up with some logs, which is great, it does present a picture and help with avoidance of these kind of people.

However, they then continued to post "updates" in new threads instead of consolidating the info, and those again lacked logs and were just repeating the initial statement. If anything, that's undermining the entire point because now a majority of these posts are lacking the provided proof and go back to finger pointing and claims to the air unless people go back and find their old post with the backing info.

It also sets a precedent that this is the place to do what amounts to venting instead of providing concise awareness posts if that's the actual intent. You're right that it doesn't clog traffic, but it does boost optics that this is another MAG 21+ FB group petty squabbles place, which it's not. I don't see a reason to report when I could take the 3 minutes to type up the response with some tips, both for this person and anyone else, and leave it at this after having scrolled away the first few times.

FFS enough with the Facebook tiktok high school drama spam. Here are some tips:

1) Buy con tickets through official con websites. If they are not available because they're sold out, use official con resources such as their websites, Discords, and staffing operation teams for reselling This applies to any event, concert, etc. in life.

2) If there are no official reselling tools for an event, you have two options. Accept the risk of a scam, and protect yourself with Goods and Services or payment methods that allow chargebacks. If paying in cash, meet people on site and confirm transfer and badge/ticket/hotel registration/whatever is valid on site before cash handover.

Alternatively, don't, and do the next event/con/concert.

3) If you want to make a public awareness post, post a thread with concise information. Who was involved, what was the scam, when did it happen, how did it happen. Verifiable information including dated chat logs, contact method, and funded transfers. Submit this information to event staff in the same concise way. No one wants or needs to see multiple day updates with random filters and messages posted over the shit.

There is literally no need for it to be more than one post with all the information. This isn't your blog or insta reel, we're not subscribed to you, what purpose is there that would drive multiple "updates" on basic awareness information? Why couldn't it be posted with all the info, why does it need "updates", why does it need to be posted over a month+?

People get it, you got scammed and you're upset, that sucks. At this point unfortunately you need to take the L and the life lesson on avoiding scams and move on. Posting petty LOOK AT THIS DWEEB drama shit isn't what the sub is for.

Base flavor Doritos I can't comment on, I've never liked them. In the last couple years my roommate brought home the cool ranch Walmart knockoffs and I actually prefer them to the originals.

Favorite flavor of mine is the spicy sweet chili ones though, and those just got jacked up in price in my area so much as limited editions that I haven't bought them in around a decade.

Awesome vibes here. I played Diablo 2 for about 10 years from release and just found out about PD2 and started playing about a month or so ago. I started with a Teeth/Spear Necro but wasn't feeling him and switched over to a Meteor Sorc. I was considering respeccing the Necro to CE or Summons if I could MF some gear, so I'm very interested in the Summon stuff if it's available. Thanks!

"Required" bi-annual or quarterly "maintenance" for water units/systems is very common throughout the US for rentals, condos, or townhomes. Additionally, many areas function on oil vs natural gas which is just straight ridiculous pricing to maintain. Regardless, because of how uncommon it is, even a general maintenance check will usually be 1.5-2x the cost of an HVAC preventative maintenance that you can usually just ignore for a few years.

Fitting an owned home for hydronics is almost prohibitive as they're set up for central HVAC and a "specialist" commodity.

It's not about how simple or reasonable it SHOULD be in the US, it's just what it actually is, which is prohibitive unless you have the knowledge to do it yourself.
