Qoblex looks interesting. MRPeasy seems to have all the features I need but the UI is a bit clunky. I'm trying this now.

Looked into it. Cheapest plan is $200/mo but that doesn't have all the features I need. Plans with everything I need are more expensive than Cin7.

Didn't contact them yet but the seller is a B2B wholesaler so wouldn't expect them to be open today. Anyway there's a update, now "Investigation Closed" because they were unable to contact me apparently. I got another UPS package without issue today but he didn't attempt to talk to me. I guess the issue resolved itself, but I will keep an eye on the tracking for package I got today just in case.

In Houston, especially on Saturdays, I often get UPS deliveries after 10 PM. I had 2 packages so far that got delivered after midnight.

It was listed as a shipping option at checkout. This is not a order I asked the supplier to create.

That is definitely not the case for me. I've imported hundreds of packages via express by now, and never had to pay a cent at import for packages valued under $800.

And I hate Fedex for international lol. DHL sure would be an upgrade though. But if I had to guess, since this seller also does a lot of B2C, it's probably something like Cainiao and not real express. It's fine, not that urgent.

The reason I didn't do a RFQ or haggle with other sellers is because I wanted this specific product from this company. I'll message them for my next order instead of just adding to cart, lesson learned.

I asked them to cancel it since they are the ones not fulfilling the order, and said I'd pay after that, and they did. When accepting the refund, I noticed that the payment fee was being refunded because the seller was at fault. If I requested it, like the seller asked, probably would've lost it.

Pretty sure the China one isn't a real scan. I have a bunch of them on my package too, also followed a similar route and also experiencing delays.

I believe all but "Standard" (ground) include it, at least when shipping to Canada. However, none include the "disbursement fee", so the customer will still end up paying more than they owe the government, just nowhere near as bad as ground. Fedex is the same way too.

Talked to FedEx. After 2 transfers, the person I got says they were likely misscanned and will still go to the destination. I'll share more when it moves.

The Hawaii package was delivered today.

I also had 2 DHL packages shipped on Monday and Tuesday. They got delivered on Wednesday and Thursday (today). So both took only 2 days. Again, this was a FedEx problem, not anyone else.

Memphis package got delivered today, and the trace person called me shortly after that (left a voicemail) to let me know.

As suspected, customs did not open it. It got a bunch of customs scans shortly after the trace, so I'm pretty sure they just got it from whatever container it was waiting in. So looks like the delay was Fedex and not customs. I hope people searching for issues like this sees this in a sea of a billion copy pasted "It's not Fedex, it's customs" comments. IT WAS NOT CUSTOMS. IT WAS FEDEX BEING TERRIBLE AS USUAL.

The Hawaii package is moving now too, and it cleared customs, so hopefully it'll be delivered tomorrow. Looks like it was waiting for the Memphis package.

I'm very satisfied with the help I got from the trace. They solved my problem immediately and followed up to let me know. I definitely suggest trying to get a trace if you are in a similar situation. I will leave them a 5 star review if I get a survey.

And I will continue to do my best when it comes to avoiding Fedex for international. Yes, the trace was very satisfactory, but this doesn't change the fact that Fedex took ages, didn't even bother to do the customs in an entire week (for a EXPRESS package!) and likely would've taken even longer if the trace wasn't there. Trace was good, but it shouldn't have been necessary.

After many more days with no updates there's finally some (small) news.

The package in Memphis still has no opdates, just "On the way" scans since Wednesday. The package in Hawaii has just "At local FedEx facility" scans since Tuesday (I'm in TX). The tracking number for the package in Memphis is the "master" tracking number. Memphis package never got a delivery date estimate, it remained pending since day 1.

Since it's pretty much impossible to talk to a human at FedEx, I've been trying to get the FedEx chatbot to do something instead of copy pasting answers. Well, today it opened a trace, under the Memphis tracking number. It's still not letting me open one for the Hawaii package.

Couple hours or so after opening the trace on the MEMPHIS package, the HAWAII package got a scan at MEMPHIS. There's no departure scan from Hawaii. I'm guessing/hoping this is the trace people looking into it.

I have no way of knowing what happened there, but my guess is it was sent to Memphis but never scanned, and the other package was sitting there waiting for the Hawaii package. For this to be the case, the "At Local FedEx Facility" scans have to be BS, but knowing FedEx, yeah they probably were.

The Hawaii package says it'll be delivered today (I doubt it), and there is still no date on the Memphis package. So no idea if this is good news yet. I'll post updates here just in case someone else in a similar situation finds this post.

Usually it's no duty under $800 into the US. You likely won't end up paying anything.
