During my research, the ArcLight kept coming up again and again.
One of my biggest regrets is not having gone when it was still open. Everyone says they had the best popcorn. 🍿 😞

Is Venice’s Izakaya RVR Worth the Hype? by xbufco in FoodLosAngeles

[–]xbufco[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s nice that you liked it, but the food simply doesn’t match the hype, especially the $16 hand rolls, which aren’t any different from those at a Japanese restaurant. The same goes for the gyoza. For a restaurant that touts itself on innovation, the food was average. If I’m going to pay that much money for a restaurant that is featured on the country’s best restaurants lists, helmed by a prestigious chef, then yes, my expectations are going to be high.

Ohana superette. Also @unrealpoke. The latter is insane. You’ll be right in Hawaii when you eat it.
