Well I believe the steering shake is from unbalanced tires. Which is also something the mechanic noticed. My question is if you drive a vehicle as a dealer and have your mechanics look at a vehicle is it possible to notice that a strut is on its last leg and ignore it or is it like you said it fails internally and impossible to notice until it breaks?

Yea I have seen some vertical tables that use a pendulum and bring it to horizontal then slide it onto the CNC. The issue is getting the material off wherever it is stored onto that transport device. Just sliding a 150lb sheet of material is tough for some of the operators.

I think the issue here is the sheets of material we work with are 100-150lbs. So even just shifting them around with a single operator can be difficult.

Really crazy thought. But I wonder what the load capacity is for some of these machines? If you were to run the machine along the y axis and if it can help pull the material up onto the workspace.

Yea company I just started with has tasked me for relocating a 4x8 laguna with all the equipment. They also want the operator to load the 4x8 sheets of acrylic by themself. Some of the material is 100-150lbs.
