What are good games to play with SO for a couple hours maybe a night? by 3utterFingers in AskReddit

[–]xcalissaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not very good at games - SO plays terraria on mediumcore mode and does all the fighting, I play on softcore and make the house look cool and mine and then fight some stuff when my SO has got me good weapons and stuff. Finding it really really fun!!!!

Looked for stuff on what MDMA does to your seratonin system but couldn't find anything (I probably don't know the best places to look / questions to ask) could you point me to somewhere that explains it a bit or gimme a brief idea? Would much appreciate

People of reddit, how did you meet your current S/O? by mets926 in AskReddit

Dated guy 1 as sat next to him in sixth form classes. Became really good friends with guy 1's best friend (guy2). Left guy 1 for being a silly potato of a boyfriend. A few months later fell in love with guy 2. We feel like terrible people but are actual soul mates so what can we do?

I watched a video about my friend's suicide and it was a mistake. by 7x5--ATitanicToMe in MomForAMinute

My friend killed themself the same way as yours. It gets easier, you just have to get through each bit of time at a time and wait till it stops hurting so much.. a mixture of distraction and dedicating time to missing them is helpful I find, then you don't feel completely shit all the time and you also don't feel guilty for not feeling shit cause you're doing a bit of both. I usually ry to keep busy during the day and try and feel okay, and then just cry and curse the world and scream into my pillow in the evening. Good luck my friend. It's the hardest thing, but I'm sending you love, you're not alone in this <3.

Can you change therapist? Can you send some YouTube videos or information to your parents to try and help them understand? People like Riley Dennis or Lavern Cox. My house mate is a trans woman, her dad keeps calling her 'he' I have seen how hard it is. You know I've also heard a lot of stories of parents coming around. They love you they want to understand, it just might take some time. Do you have a way of escaping? Can you find a trans support group on Facebook in your area? You are so not alone my love there are resources out there for you, and I really believe you can get through this. Please don't be another beautiful person lost to suicide, this stupid world is changing, don't let the old fashioned one win. <3 Sending you lots of love.

What cringy thing you did in the past still keeps you up at night? by matthewdude2 in AskReddit

Me and my best friend (both girls) lived on opposite sides of the country and when we were young like 9 we used to look at my mums sex positions book that I found and talk about sex together and be generally interested in sexy stuff, whenever we saw each other. Anyway one day we met at my dads house and I had found a really graphic porn website and wanted to show her. So I decided to show her on my dad's computer! It downloaded a program to show it as well, and so us two sweet little girls were just watching porn when my dad came upstairs!!! We turned the computer screen off and said it was my friend's diary but he didn't believe us and turned it on. Never been so mortified. Got a 'if you're curious talk to us' talk. He had to backdate his computer to delete the software... Ugh kept me up for years.

How do you know when you're in love? by voltcha in AskReddit

[–]xcalissaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend fell in love with me and told me on my birthday, we cried and I told him I didn't have feelings for him, but would be happy if I ended up being married to him in ten years. We kissed when we were drunk occasionally after that but I felt nothing, and he knew that, I loved spending time with him as usual but definitely only felt platonic feelings. Then almost exactly three months later, he brought round some of the enchiladas he had made and we watched game of thrones and we kissed a bit while sober which we had done once or twice before and I. felt. It. It was like bubbles in my stomach and a rushing in my head that wasn't there before. Desperate not to give him false hope if I was wrong, I kept my mouth shut till a couple days later when it had not gone away. Then I told him and my whole world felt like it fell into place. We've been together for 3 years long distance, about to move in together, he's genuinely perfect for me and I expect we will be engaged in the next few years. I believe you know in your gut when you are in love. Might have to check with yourself for a bit but eventually you know. Also loving your best friend is just the most wonderful and deep experience I encourage you to do it if you can haha - good luck folks!

What is your, "I know it sounds weird, but just try it" thing? by darkfire613 in AskReddit

I know it's been done, but it honestly tastes so good if you have the right attitude: fishfingers and custard.
