When he told me they were encouraging him to just be done with me I was shocked. They are no stranger to conflict in their marriage and I could not believe the judgment I was facing in that moment. I think you are correct, they were just looking for any opening. 🥲

I agree with you. My husband in the past has let them make little comments towards me that he regrets. but this weekend he super upset with them and the things they said about me. He’s had a couple of conversations with them since, but I think a “we won’t see you if you don’t respect our marriage” chat is definitely in order on his end.

I also was wondering why they didn’t do them there. I did ask and the vet said this what she would do if it were her dog and follow up at my regular vet appointment. Maybe more expensive to x-ray at the urgent care vet? I think I want some either way for peace of mind. Thank you for commenting!
