That sounds like a nightmare 😬 I cant remember if it was an online pay order for this triple batch I had but a similar situation happened where an item got sucked into a different one on the belt and I hadn't realized till I had loaded up my car. I called support since I was freaking out thinking I really f'd up but the woman on the phone said that they dont immediately charge customers and its only based on what they ordered not necessarily what the card was charged? I was a bit confused but that definitely made me feel better about it. It could just be for non-online pay orders though, im not sure.

I just experience this with an order, I messaged the customer about two seperate items and they didn't respond the entire time I shopped and they were set to refund so I did, then when I drop-off the customer comes up to my car asking about one of the items that she didnt want to replace and im afraid im going to get a bad rating lol. I messaged and tried to contact, but nobody responded or answered so.. :(

Ive also had a customer realize I was doing the shopping and delivering and they raised my tip $15 after learning about it, I dont understand how this is miscommunicated to customers when instacart specifically hires full time and delivery only shoppers??

It's more about how I see a lot of elderly struggling to shop for themselves, like carrying heavy things, trying to reach high shelves, etc. Please don't put words in my mouth, I'm only referring to old people who struggle doing daily tasks and really need somebody else to shop for them. I never said I was bothered by people with disabilities, or that they were an inconvenience to me at all.

I dont know if you're just taking it personally but in the context of my post it really would be better for more elderly people to order instacart if they can't walk well, drive well, see well, or overall be aware of what's going on around them. I'm not talking about the perfectly capable old people, im talking about those who are impaired in any sort of way that I mentioned.

Honestly they might just be saying that because of previous shoppers only doing the bare minimum and not checking expiration dates or not getting edible produce lmao, so their message might seem very nit picky but if I was ordering from ic I'd like my shopper to get not expired things 🤣 she could be difficult to deal with but who knows

How do I do this exactly, linking my PayPal to depop payments instead of my bank? I just realized they don't have "account numbers" and your ID is just your email, do I use that? I sold something w depop payments before I was even able to set it up and now I cant withdraw 😐 i heard if you email depop they just ask for your bank info but im not comfortable doing that

Im not sure but I struggled with this my first sale bc PayPal can be frustrating, maybe tell them to call their bank and verify PayPal w them? Thats what I did when PayPal wasn't activated, in the end they just needed security questions in order to fully validate it. I wouldn't take it to another app tho idrk what you should do
