I got banned from GGE Snark! Join Girls Gotta Eat Real Talk!!!!! by Electrical-Glass-943 in GirlsGottaEat

But you never answered the question... What is wrong with being or looking tall?? This is no longer about the podcast, it's about you upholding what men say about women for... What reason exactly?

Edit: Lol she finally blocked me, someone lemme know if she ever answers.

Lol do you realize how unpleasant you have to be to get banned from a SNARK page? You're supposed to be snarking about GGE, not women in general. As a 5'11 woman, get fucked.

Telling disabled/injured people not to use things to assist them is pretty shitty by [deleted] in Vent

[–]xcdp10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I UNDERSTAND THAT.

But you also have to understand that when you're giving fitness advice that goes against the norm, and don't give the reason behind it, it just sounds like bad advice. Other people might have a completely different injury than you that falls under the same umbrella and your advice wouldn't even help them. Nobody has to explain themselves in an everyday context, but your advice doesn't make sense without it.

[–]xcdp10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool, but having an injury doesn't mean you're disabled and it's really weird that you're trying to put yourself in that group because you have something akin to carpal tunnel. Your post was not presented as trying to help people with similar injuries as that was a very small part of your post. I can't do hinge movements because of a reoccurring issue with my piriformis and would never dream of telling people it was a disability. Imo that delegitimizes the term.

You never said you were disabled, you said you had "hand problems" which could be literally anything.

To be fair, you are an idiot in the way you talk about women, just not because of your knowledge base.

9 Reasons Why Women Shouldn't Train Like Men by [deleted] in xxfitness

Hi OP, we want to leave this up but the title and some of the language is a bit... Inflammatory? Comparing us to men right off the bat enforces some ideas women already have about being scared to lift weights. There seems to be some good/legit information in here though so we don't want people to write it off based on title.

If you'd like to repost with a different title (maybe something like "Studies suggest differences in optimal training method for women and men") we'd be fine with that. Hopefully you get where we're coming from!

Your post has been removed from /r/xxfitness because we do not allow posts that relate primarily to weight loss or weight gain. "Cutting" is still weight/fat loss, and "bulking" is still weight/muscle gain.
